Why didn't you just get it over with and write EVAR!!111oneelevenlol

That seems to be about the level you people operate on.

Too bad it's most likely a card game.

ROYAL FLUSH IS BABY CARDS! WHAT'S THAT FULL HOUSE? KILL THEM ALL? GOOD IDEA!
WHAT SICK MAN SENDS BABY DECK TO FIGHT ME?

What on Earth could these characters possibly be doing in the same place? Telltale's next game brings them all together!
I'm not the kind of guy to burst someone's bobble, but... I have a bad feeling about this.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really anxious to see a point-and-click with these guys(or a multiple genra crossover, or almost anything, even if it's just fanflicks), but there's a little thing in the trailer that scares me.

Tyco, The Heavy, and Max(I can't tell if Strong Bad is going it, too) are all holding something in their hands, something that resembles playing cards.
So it could be a card game or a Texas Hold'em(why I say this, because there's a schedule on Telltale's site about a Texas Hold'em game coming soon).
And this is not the kind of interaction I want between these guys!
I seriously hope I'm wrong, but The Heavy is definitely holding some card-like thingies :(

Couldn't actually see about half the screen on my player.

That said, not terribly excited about this - it will be lame if it is anything!

after watching the teaser and seeing what resemble cards in their hands I got the impression it will be a new version of Telltale Texas Hold Em and as long as it isn't too expensive it could be a decent game like the first one is.

Am I the only one who noticed there are a LOT fo crossovers happening all of the sudden? This, Marvel vs Capcom, Mk vs DC, that one Sony one with Clank, Jak, Sly, and someone else I forgot, etc.
It's really fun and it rarely harms the franchises because it's not canon.

I'm all for as many crossovers as come out. Occasionally there ends up being a gem :).

Plus when I was younger the marvel vs. DC crossovers were great thought experiment food.

Are point and clicks all Telltale games know how to do?
Ah, but isn't this rumoured to be a crossover card game?

OT: I was hoping for a Monkey Island and Sam & Max crossover...but if the Heavy is in it, I'm wanting this game. Now. :)

EDIT: Although, if they don't turn out to be who we think they are when they are revealed, I will be very disappoint. :(

I'll give Telltale the benefit of the doubt for this right now, because they make awesome stuff, but right now I'm wondering if they could have gotten a worse cast of characters. Tycho? Strongbad? Heavy weapon dude? I hope they take Max's gun away so he doesn't shoot himself to escape that hell. Oh who am I kidding, Max would shoot them, so let him keep the gun. :)

I could turn that around on so many other developers that it wouldn't even be funny. And I wonder why you would think it a bad thing in the first place. If a dev is good at something, let them keep on rolling making awesome games in that genre. But hey, not to mention they have made other types of games, so why you would say that about Telltale is beyond me anyway.

Well if that is The Heavy and it is a Texas Hold'em, then we can expect some form of card based hat or misc item for Tf2...

Oh, Snap! That IS Heavy Weapons Guy!

This, I think, is one of those "It's going to kick ass or totally blow" things.

I will buy this game on every platform it is available on.

Heavy or no.

As long as it has Tycho, Strongbad, and Max.

Mostly Max.
