I'm guessing some (alot, probably) have only played Psychonauts because of Yahtzee's review, well, me being lucky enough to have found it prior think it's a good thing he did mention it.

It's REALLY hard choosing all these games. I basically had to just type in the first mind-blowingly awesome games that came to mind first. I just got through playing the whole doom series, and I cant help but think that doom should be higher on my list. The game is the oldest by far, and it made my top 10. I WOULD play it again over other FPS titles. That's saying a lot. I also wanted to cover as many generas as possible. I missed some other gems in there like HL1 and some of the recent castlevainias. Morrowind is defiantly the best game I've played though. No other game has held me like that one has.

EDIT: Ok, im just going to add those other ones in, so they can be scored to whatever game is going to need the boost. Some games just were awesome, and then another game took everything I loved from the other game, and made it perfect. the "final answer" is the actual vote, but if the original game it's based off of is leading, there is no point in boosting up a game that is too close to the bottom.

It is Shin? That's what I had at first, I dunno how I got it switched, I blame Shadow of the Colossus. Anyway, I'll have it corrected when I get the next table up.

I just got to give you credit for naming Out of the Park Baseball. Sports Sims take up most of my free time when not on the internet. If I thought for a second when I was making my list that PC games could be included, Football (Worldwide Soccer) Manager 2007 would definitely gotten a Top 3 nod.

With mjhhiv's post, Half-Life 2 officially wrestles the lead away from its Orange Box brother, dropping Portal into 2nd place. And with the Top 2 games, and 3 in the Top 10, Valve have to be very proud of themselves right now. Fallout 3 sits a very distant third, with the overlooked-everywhere-but-here Psychonauts and Call of Duty 4 rounding out the Top 5. Also, I've now instituted tiebreakers, as ties are for lame Christmas presents.

Order is simply those that sprang to mind first. I was quite suprised at myself that I found no space for Shadow of the Collosus, HL2 and other games on that list but I stand by it (at the moment).
