I hate putting the order this way. It ruins all the suspense.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*
2. The Secret of Monkey Island*
3. Okami*
4. Shadow of the Colossus*
5. The Curse of Monkey Island*
6. Braid*
7. Ultimate Doom and Doom II (they're essentially the same game)
8. Sam and Max series, including Hit the Road
9. Earthbound (haven't finished it yet, might be higher)
10. Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
Note: If 8's not allowed, just take all the Sam & Max episodes. If I have to pick one episode, it's Chariot of the Dogs.
Note 2: I'm sure everyone's a bit cockeyed at number ten. No nostalgia, I just played it for the first time, and it seriously is the best platformer to date...unless you count Braid as a platformer.
Note 3: Asterisks denote games I give a 100/100. There's not much you can do to improve any of them, as they're all ahead of their time in one way or the other.
