Pwn.
Gank.
Rape (comparing getting beaten down in a game to sexual assault is a true sign of depravity in gamers, especially when those gamers use the 'context' argument to defend their usage).
FFS.
WTF (just ****ing swear already).
Jank.
Schwag (it's swag).

'Clip'

It's a MAGAZINE goddammit! Call it a 'mag' if 'magazine' is too long, but clip is INCORRECT.

Movies do this also...
Unless it's a WWII game and you're using a bolt-action rifle or an M1 Garand...then "clip" is correct. :)
Granted, but 99% of the time that's NOT what they're talking about.
no , you sir are wrong, clip acounts only to a "stripper clip" which is a peice of metal that is holding the rounds, the "clip" is placed above said rifle and the rounds a pushed off the clip into the INTERNAL MAGAZINE. it can be inter changable and i dont partularly give two-shits either way,

defeiniton dictionary.com
MAGAZINE
2. a room or place for keeping gunpowder and other explosives, as in a fort or on a warship.
3. a building or place for keeping military stores, as arms, ammunition, or provisions.
4. a metal receptacle for a number of cartridges, inserted into certain types of automatic weapons and when empty removed and replaced by a full receptacle in order to continue firing

CLIP

i went to three websites and found nothing about a clip for a weapon, therfore clip must be slang

MAGAZINE IS RIGHT YOU FOOLS

In a sense of game titles, Unleashed.

It always makes me wonder if there was something "leashed" about it before. In some ways, I am glad they use that word, because it helps me point out games I'll never want to buy.

Mostly WoW terms cause there are so many and they arent even important to be used. It confuses most members let alone, me who has played maybe for 20 min in my life?

I have a group of friends who've suddenly decided that playing the original Gears of War makes them incredibly cool. What annoys me is their obsession with using superhero names to describe different forms of kills. Superman, Batman and Spiderman appear to be the most prominent currently, and they mean that I now find myself unable to understand almost everything they say. Here's an accurate representation of a conversation between two of them:
Noob X: Woah I just well badly Supermanned that guy. His head got right popped. Oh my, stop Batmanning me all the time!
Noob Y: Haha! Oh look at that noob, what did he Spiderman me for? Oh now I'm gonna own! I just got me shotty out now.
Noob X: I am like a huge pro with the snipes, I'm popping all the 'eads!

There insistency on calling everybody who beats them a 'noob' and asking why somebody on the opposing team shot them is also swiftly becoming a persistent annoyance. Oh and before I forget they've also suddenly decided that it's compulsory to change their gamertags at least once every other week, steadily adding more V's, X's and Z's to them. Oh and they have to match. I swear eventually it's just going to boil down to names like XVZZVXI M IXVSSVX and XVZZVXI W IXVSSVX.

Oh and their total misunderstanding of Roman numerals. It's Grand Theft Auto Four; not GTA I-V (eye-vee). I could carry on forever but I'm going to force myself to stop now before I find myself adding something else.

half the words used to talk trash over clan matches over XBL. "Scrub", "Bad Kid", "Garbo", "Random", "Randy BK Scrub", it reeks of douchebaggery.

I don't know about you guys, but I get tired of hearing the word engine being used to show people that the new game will be crazy special awesome. "This game has an entirely new engine to make the panda bears fly more realisticly."

As of now, "Concept Art Style". It's cell shading. I'm not artsy, but I don't see a difference. I waited a day to hear that. I'm disappointed. It's now my least favorite word.

Hardcore and casual.

Damn right. If I'm powergaming The Sims 2, is that "hardcore casual"? And if I'm just dicking around in a Total War game, is that "casual hardcore"?
