Did anyone see Orphan? I couldn't decide if I hugely disliked it or not...
I've seen Orphan. And I thought it was too slow and far too predictable.
Hmm. It certainly wasn't good. But as horror movies go I thought it was alright. And they did put in a twist. There were an awful lot of plotholes mind.

Wanted - Overrated nonsense with the barest sense of plot and really unlikable characters
This too. It was a little like Jumper in that it had an interesting idea but screwed it up with a crappy plot and characters.
For god's sake don't talk about Jumper... it's one of the single worst movies I've ever seen. No plot, no character, no energy, no point. Jamie Bell was the only decent think about it, and that's really pushing it. It just helped to prove the point that if you replaced Hayden Christensen with a nice antique chair, no-one would notice. At least the chair might have some personality.
Somebody should totally write a review saying that. Imagine the look on Hayden Christensens' face if he read "If you replaced Hayden Christensen with a nice antique chair, no-one would notice. At least the chair might have some personality." in a review... It would be priceless.
How could you even tell if he was pissed off? Seriously - happy face, sad face, angry face, ALL THE SAME! The insipid grin, the dead, glassy eyes. He's like a fricking Mannequin. God I hate him.
Have you ever seen Clerks II? There's a great line in there: "Mannequin Skywalker" or something to that effect...

Yep. Mediocre Sex in the City wannabe.
The fashion editor even looked like a less attractive Samantha.

I don't even like SATC! Let alone something the same but much worse.
Well, are you a chick? I do think that makes a difference.

Dragon ball evolution. WORST MOVIE EVER MADE.
But the question is, is it funny bad or one-last-push-for-suicide bad? I've heard the latter...

And I'd have to say Hitman. I watched it earlier this year for the first time and had to shut it off because the guy playing 47 looked like he was just doing some cosplay. Badly.

You know them..the terrible movies you've seen this year, whether they be in the theater or on DVD

For me i saw The Spirit on DVD and it sucked so baddd. Also the random chick flicks i saw that were full of predictable cliches, those were awful and my friends wanted to go to see more...
The Spirit made me lose all faith in film and The Watchmen gave it right back (No Watchmen fanboys please, I don't care if you thought Ozymandius looked cooler in the comic book.) I'd rather eat hot gravel than see another chick flick.

How about a terrible movie I didn't watch this year:
While shredding mail I decided to put on Max Payne (which my friends said was horrible) but my TV would only show a black screen. Every other channel worked; I guess my TV has taste.

One that I did see (at a friends house) that was terrible was Metropolitan. A real pretentious piece of crap about the most unlikeable obnoxious trust fund preppies ever. The only character who you didn't end up hating you just felt sorry for. The acting was really bad too, like extras from Clerks bad; at least that movie had an great script and now that I think about it was about the same generation of people just on complete opposite sides of the social strata. The acting was so bad that (even though none of the characters were openly gay) you could tell that most of the actors were homosexual.

Halloween (Rob Zombie remake) I know it came out a couple of years ago now but i only got round to watching it this year, it was awful. Seriously, if you're a kid in a mental institution who's been not eating properly and probably has no access to a gym or anything of the sort then how the hell did he grow up to be a massive 7/8 foot hunk of muscle who can take a butchers knife in the neck and several bullet wounds (one in the head) and STILL survive to star in a sequal.

Transformers 2.

Michael Bay probably filmed separate explosions and then asked a crackhead 12year old to write a plot that ties these explosions together. Also, the camera was probably operated by a pubescent boy, because it was constantly focusing on Megan Fox's chest.
I couldn't tell who is fighting who, and actually I didn't care.

I want to track down Bay and beat him with an hammer. In slow motion.

Summer movie season is usually pretty good, but this year has been 'meh' at best.

Netflix'd The Ruins expecting a complete stinker, and was surprised it actually didn't try to be more than it was. That was it for the shockers.

Push was released this year right? 'Cause that was the public mutilation of a nifty concept.
Art direction was sound, casting was okay, plot was workable, but the pacing was god awful and it just didn't click as an action film.
I'm sure there's something worse but I can't think of it now.
