You poor poor bastard... that movie looked terrible.

You know what I've seen only a few really crappy movies so far but I think I should mention some of the trailers for supposed 'family flicks' for the summer coming out. When waiting to see Coraline I got treated to the trailer for 'Aliens in the Attic' some movie about a wishing stone and of course 'G-force' and all of them just looked terrible. It was agony to sit through them.
So there with the exception of Up and Coraline the entire roster of family films coming out is absolutley agonizing.

Well, uhm 'Nick', I truly hope your kidding. With all the explosions and "action" that went on in that movie, there was no blood what so ever. The acting was so shitty I almost killed myself.
[And no, when the 'ninja' got scratched doesn't count!]
Nope. Really enjoyed it. It was by no means 'good' by Oscar committee standards, but as over-the-top cheesy nonsense it was exactly what I was hoping for. Your disappointment at the lack of gore suggests we have fairly divergent tastes and that's no bad thing, but I suspect we're not going to see eye to eye on this one.

Was 10,000 BC this year? I think it might have been last year, actually. :/ Oh well, it was so bad that it deserves another mention. Also Knowing. Ugh.

Thread title: subliminally trying to get us to all remember how terrible the Saw movies are?

The worst film I've seen this year was not actually made this year. Pretty In Pink. Y'know how people go on about it as one of those things you have to see, alongside The Breakfast Club and that sort of thing, presumably because they're both written by the same guy and have some of the same cast? Those people are wrong. My friends and I only made it through to the end of the film because we were busy laughing at how completely pointless it was. Weird thing is, I usually like that kind of thing. I loved The Breakfast Club so I'm completely mystified at how this went so wrong.

I think the only 'this year's film' that I've seen this year was that Benjamin Button thing. It wasn't bad per se, just could've done with being a bit shorter. Or a lot shorter. Like half as long.
