Put a couple of sleeping pills in his drink and when he is unconscious, you can play to your hearts content. If you are lucky he will never find out you drugged him.
(I am actually being serious here)
Or if he is the reasonable type, you could try talking to him
/partial reference get.

Wait until he falls asleep, then eat his fingers.
That's right, you heard me.
EAT HIS FUCKING FINGERS.
How you gonna rack up kills when you can't press the buttons, Mr.brother man?

(Note: That was not at all serious, if you do this, you are a sick bastard.)

Next time, I'd just buy the game on my own. I once saved up for 2 and a half months for a game, just so no-one else could help me buy it and use that as justification to hog the shit out of it. [small]I already made that mistake with an entire fucking 360.. But that's another story.[/small]

if he still refuses to give the game up then you might just need to kill him.

Welcome! Welcome to Escapistmagazine.com! You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining Internet Utopias. I thought so much of Escapistmagazine.com, that I elected to establish my administration, here, in the Forums, so thoughtfully provided by our Moderators. To OP: Muscle Relaxents. Put them in his drink. Make home weak. Or laxatives, he will be to busy explosively excreteing every solid piece of food he has eaten in the past week to play.

OT: Well, no, I buy all my games alone.
And both of my siblings have moved out.
And my parents aren't gamers.

I can only get 1-2 games per every two months though.
Namless used my video. /happy.

---

OT: Take up the PC playing an older game. That'll really piss him off.

So you have to wait a day? Big whoop, at least you didn't have to pay full price, you'll get your turn.

My flatmate and I both paid exactly half for Batman Arkham Asylum and I waited a week before I got to play it.

This is the only rational solution.

Then jack all of his "phat lootz."

In all seriousness, he deserves to play, but since he's done this repeatedly, your only option is to grovel at his feet like a little baby work out a system filled with charts and graphs.

That'll learn 'em!
Exactly, either they will agree or get a headache and leave.

Also, I was the only boy living with 5 chicks, 4 of them were gamers >.>
[sub]It all paid off when they were older, three oldest kids shared a room, they were teh hot ;D. NO, BAD CHRISTIAN! NO INCEST! Sorry about that, went off on a bit of a tangent there...
But, seriously, my older sisters were ho-god damnit! Focus Christian, focus![/sub]

he has a good 150 pounds (muscle) on me.
This doesn't mean shit. A 120 pound jujutsu master would put him on the ground before your brother knew he was there. Learn some pressure point thumb jabs. You can take him.

Luckily, my older sister doesn't have the same interests that I do so I've never had to worry. :) At most, she likes to come and watch me play but that's about it. (Though, she does ask 50 thousand questions while I'm playing...)

The only solution I can think of is to just ask him and be rational about it. But you already said that won't work. To be honest, I can't really think of any other solution that will end with win-win results...

Sorry for double-post, but everyone does realize the OP is 17 right (I see he also has the accursed November birthday that makes things wonky for real life)? That means his brother is 18+ and should have a life outside of gaming (and I say should because I know it sometimes doesn't happen). Unless your brother is a high school senior ( I'm assuming you are a junior or senior) he should be off to college/work/doing something besides gaming all day. Sneak in when he's not there and don't stop when he comes home for payback. Or you can call him a lazy bum if he doesn't do anything else. (Assuming he is fully capable of getting a job/going to college/etc. Don't mock him if he has a good reason to be home). Also, the hell is doing staying up all night, assuming he does something during the day? Am I the only person who appreciates a full night of sleep?

My younger brother and I have an honourable bond; I wouldn't do that to him and vice versa. Usually we go for co-op games so that one doesn't have to miss out in favour of the other.
Fair enough he paid a bit more for it, but he's being a bit of a jerk.

We are talking about a game here. He WILL get bored eventually. Then, you can play to your heart's content.

Sleep is good. Especially a full day of it.

Get your brother a girlfriend or another hobby. Buy him a model kit or a puzzle. Or a hooker.

And no, I buy my own games and I only have a sister, who couldn't care less about videogames.
