met Morgan Freeman very briefly.
He was doing a play in New York and I caught him sneaking out of the back of the theatre.

I met Mike Krahulik and got a picture with Jerry Holkins from Penny Arcade. I also got a photo and talked to Graham Stark, Paul Saunders and Kathleen De Vere from Loading Ready Run while at PAX East this year. My friend also ran into Paul Saunders multiple times while walking around PAX East.

Ray Bourque and Don Sweeny.
Shook their hand, got an autograph, and then procceeded to have a dinner with them for almost 3 hours of talking.
Apparently, Ray Bourque really likes BBQ chicken, and Don Sweeny is a huge face of classical opera.

I also met Bruce Campbell a few years back.

Edit:
I almost forgot, I met Fluffy after one of his shows in Texas.

I saw Michael Jordan, with a bunch of press and fans around him one time I was in Chicago about 6 years ago. Don't usually understand or follow hero worship but I have to admit I was in awe to actually see Michael fucking Jordan coming out of some big hotel downtown.

The only famous people I've actually met/talked to was Dave Chappelle when I was in Colorado. CHILLEST. MAN. EVER. We need him again. and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth fame- though that was after a concert so it's not like I ran into him or wasn't expecting to see him. Another chill, hilarious (and metal) ************.

Dikembe Mutombo. He came to my school to talk about some of the work he was doing in Africa and I got to speak to him about his views on various issues. I knew he was tall but in person he's massive. Got him to wag his finger at me, that was awesome.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was promoting his new book and I got to meet him. He made fun of my brother, it was hilarious.

John Kerry. I was part of the staff working at his Yale reunion and spent a good 30-35 minutes talking with him as he was getting ready to leave.

Denzel Washington. My brother and his daughter were graduating and he came to see the commencement. I was apparently walking right next to him and didn't notice it was Denzel until a group of people starting running toward me and going crazy. With all these people around us we had a nice little conversation before he got in his car.

I met Chuck Norris once, as he was friends with the Master of the martial arts dojo I practiced at for a while. The guy's a jackass.
