Game: Jagged Alliance 2
Book: The Baroque Cycle by Neal Stephenson, OK technically it's a whole bunch of books but it is one over arching narrative so get off my back.
Movie: Ahh now there's the rub, I would say Mad Max, Millers Crossing, The Godfather, The Thing or Raiders of the Lost Ark, but you specified getting a laugh out of it. I know it's a tad overdone by the fans but I have to say The Big Lebowski just edges out Withnail and I, mostly because I watched and read a lot of hard-boiled detective stories in my youth. Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York are both great sick day/rainy day films though.
Edit: TV Show- Deadwood. I've seen it a bunch of times but the scene with Al and Wu when they are "discussing" the dope robbery, man that still makes me laugh. Al Swearengen has the greatest character development over the course of the three series ever.
