Amen to that.

Slap him in the face and tell him the next time you want his opinion you'll beat it out of him.
And double amen to that.

Only person off the top of my head who argues real dirty is my wife.

Well, and maybe this one guy in Paris, but I've come to an understanding with him:
My tastes are shit, and he's an snobby asshole. We will seldom agree on anything.

Oh course. They're everywhere. Particularly in places like GameFAQs forums, depending on the game. Anytime a mediocre FPS comes out, idiot white knight defenders come to the rescue and call anyone who is not interested in, or was dissatisfied of, the game a CoD-tard (or some ever-so-colorful variant), sheep who listen to reviews, etc. In a perfect world, people like these would be fed to a woodchipper, feet-first.

There's a simple solution to it. Buy a pc. Then beat him with your PS3 until he stops moving...

(don't attempt that last part in a state where murder is illegal)

I won the arguement, doesn't matter how much evidence you can produce, how intelligent you are, it all comes down to who leaves, sleeps or dies first. Arguements can end no other way.
Check the sketch out when you get home. Honestly, backing off first is often the best thing to do.

That one douche who wont let you have your opinions about game was the Australian Attorney General Michael Atkinson.

Now we just need to get rid of the rest of them...

That what my ex friends from high school were like since they all got PS2 while I had a Gamecube. They use every remark to get me to switch (unlike the Wii I never regret getting the Gamecube and I enjoyed the games I played on it). I just glad I'm no logner keep in touch with them anymore.

My ex. Whenever I said something she disagreed with, or if I corrected a misconception she had, she acted as if I insulted her mother.

Dunno who he is but make sure you hurl a bus at him. =P

Shame though, Halo Reach seemed like a lot of fun when i tried it at a friend's house.

Oh, and try reading the product reviews at Gamestop.ca for PS3 and 360s.

People there make me weep for humanity...
Lol that reminded me of this.

There is always someone like that. Just need to live with it. The sad part is people probably pay more attention to their opinion than others. Such is the way in the world.

Just deflect it with "Nobody cares, fanboy.". My guess is your friends are just as sick of him as you are and will agree with you. He won't be so confident with multiple people openly showing their distaste for his stupid opinions.

in highschool, there were these group of people that would get mad every single time i even mentioned an xbox exclusive franchise. them being PS3 owners, and me being an xbox owner. if i just mentioned halo, they would instantly assume i was a fanboy and start bragging about their own exclusive games. got extremely annoying after a while.

Luckily for me, those days are over. Now, we all go around and tell each other that "you're dumb because PS3 is for losers" or "WoW is the reason you do poorly in school" and that sort of friendly smack-talk. But I'm pretty sure we're all humble about it, and we understand that people like different things.

I have come across "that guy" at one point. He liked racing games and The Sims. And the were "that guy", for sure. But I don't keep in contact with them anymore.
