Allied general or Panzer general. Old hexagon turnbased 2D strategy games. And no, that piece of sh*t boardgame looking thing on Xbox live doesn't count.

In Allied general you spent a big chunk of the first campaing (North Africa) getting your ass kicked by the Germans just hoping you'd hold enough cities to be able to get to the next mission. And then the mission in El Alamein came and you got to deliver some payback.

It made you feel like you where a general who was going to determine the fate of Europe.

Shogun II. Can't play it because my operative system refuses to work, got a new computer and now I've only got Windows XP Service Pack 1, I can't get service pack 2 because I can't find it and windows update freezes when i open that page. So I've ordered Windows 7 but won't get it until next week. So no Shogun (or any other games) for me for a while.

Pretty much Guild Wars 2 and non Wii games like Halo, Transformers: Battle for Cybertron etc. Also I want to played my old game Gotcha Force but at the moment I had lend that game to my mate who lived far away so I can't simple get it back until we mmet up again.

I've tried everything. Setting the affinity to a single core, W7 patches, running as admin, every compatability mode and even the install by extracting 'Shock' from my CD. I can't get past the initial splash screen.

Nomad Soul on the Dreamcast, it's not the best game in the world but when i played it (years ago) it managed to hold my attention. My Dreamcast broke and i traded my games in toward the cost of different console, so i never got to complete it. I always wonder how the story would have turned out.... and whether i'd get my soul back.

The first three Spyro games.
Played them like crazy when I was a kid. For some reason the second game vanished many years ago, so I can't play that one anymore. The first and third are so damn used that I can't even get past the intro screen.

Going to buy them on PSN eventually, but with the hacking I'm not too excited about putting up my credit card information there.

Ach, must've read the thread wrong.
I got the case for Persona 3 but apparently lost the disc, I never got to finish it.
Also, Jade Empire. Got a 2nd hand Xbox from a friend that is very picky. It will also play Ninja Gaiden in 5 min periods before crashing.

OP get a ps2 emulator for free or just buy a cheap ps2. Easy fix.

I really want to play my old Doctor Who game 'Destiny of the Doctors' again but the disk is scratched up all to hell and I'm not sure if you can get the game anymore. Sad face.

Also the new Deus Ex but thats only a matter of time...

The Legend of Zelda; Wind Waker.

It's the only Zelda game that I'd rate above the Ocarina of Time, but I can't find a cheap version of it to play on my Wii since I traded it in a few years ago. The cheapest version I could find was an £80 copy on amazon.co.uk, so I guess I'll just have to keep looking through GAME's preowned sections.
