We all have games we like, and games we love. But hardly any games are flawless. So, list some games you like and name one thing in each one that you feel they could do without. It could be anything. A weapon, a portion of the physics, a vehicle, an enemy. But don't list anything the game needs. Only something you'd like to see gone. Now I'm not going to list any examples myself, because this is the opening post. So anything I list will be visible front and center and might inspire debate. But I'll weigh in later. Let's hear what you have to say.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood... the whole "secondary objective" idea.

I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't so easy, and yet so elusive. I always almost get it, but right at the last second I fail it so if I want the whole "Full synchronization" for the mission I have to go all the way back to the start which was 20~30 minutes of gameplay ago. Either let me retry from the checkpoint or don't have it at all.

Felt that Ace combat games could do without SAMs.

Oh and Final Fantasy X-2 could have used less... Final Fantasy X-2. (But I did find Yuna more hot in that game then FFX. Especially Warrior Yuna. (FIXED) *Drools*)

Mass Effect 2 would've been much better without The Illusive Man--or for that matter, Cerberus as a whole. Hell, I might have even forgiven it for the space baby.

Oblivion without the main quest. It was one of the worst quest lines in the game. I can only imagine how good the game would have been in the Dark Brotherhood quests would have been the main ones.

007 Nightfire could have done with less insta-kill weapons
EDIT: explosive ones really (four granade/rocket launchers? really?)

Fallout: New Vegas - Cazadors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in non-raging mode, I really think they ruined the game by being so fast, so powerful and so agile. Deathclaws are supposed to be the most dangerous thing in the wasteland, yet these can outrun you and swoop in and instakill you. Give me the legendary deathclaw any day because at least I can see him and hit him from a distance.

Alternatively...
Call of Duty Multiplayer without killstreaks; game would be so much better without a chopper gunner disrupting play and forcing everyone on the opposite team into the buildings to camp for 30 seconds every time they appear.

Cerberus is fine, but the morality system can go down a bottle of sleeping pills.

Wait thought of another thing - Fallout 3's story; just dump us in the Capital Wasteland with no weapons, healing items and just rags on our backs with the single objective "survive" and it would be better; I found I spent 99% of my time exploring or doing side missions which were much more involving and really helped express with the amazingly bleak atmosphere of the game.

Halo Reach without the Race gametypes. Or at least, without them being eligible to vote for - they should be in their own class, rather than forcing them upon people who want to play normally.

TF2 would be better without the trading, microtransactions, and manco crates.

Choppers in Call of duty, or Killstreaks all together. Never liked them in the first place, it's a FPS not a air to ground combat simulator.

Now for mine:
I love Persona 3, but it would've been better without the "Your friendship will get stronger soon." message. I want my friendship to get stronger NOW! Half the times you hang out with friends, you get this message instead of a social link level up. It's nearly impossible to maximize all of the social links without a strategy guide, so why not just let the friendship level up every time you hang out, instead of every other time? That way we could still spend extra days doing something different.

I love Halo Reach, but it would've been better without concussion rounds. The drop ships were much better when they just shot plasma balls at you. In multiplayer Matchmaking, the concussion rifles only seem to damage enemy players when they feel like it. There just wasn't any need for it. The Covenant already have explosive projectiles, and they're much better than that one.

I love Shadow the Hedgehog, but it would've been better if it didn't take itself so seriously. The game was clearly designed to pander to the kind of children who think that edgy stuff is cool, but they still made it tame enough for parents to approve of. So Shadow fires guns, but the human enemies don't die when you shoot them. They just lay there going "please, no!" and Shadow says "Damn! Not here!" when he falls to his death. They try to make the game look like it's dark but Shadow comes out looking like a parody of himself.

Left 4 Dead 2 without the jockeys. I understand they wanted to look different enough to justify making a whole separate game, but they didn't need to add so many special infected. And this is one of the most annoying.

The breathing mini-game in Final Fantasy VII. Dear god I don't want to give Priscilla mouth to mouth anymore. It's been 5 friggin minutes! She's fine! C'mon Cloud let me leave. What did she ever to for you? And since when are you a life guard? Pisses me off.

Fallout New Vegas without bugs. But that's not very creative.

The Orange Box without Half Life. THAT'S RIGHT I SAID IT.
