Maybe it's just because I love saying big words like "Zwitterion" and "plasmolyze".
Try saying "Zwitterion" in a German accent. Fun fact: you will never be able to stop. Ever.

and just because the energy (according to theory) has to go 'somewhere' it doesn't mean it has to go back into THIS universe.
Heh you have no idea... once you factor in quantum mechanics and gravity stretching accross a multiverse things like the basic laws of thermodynamics start to get messy. A lot of the effects on a quantum scale would at least cancel each other out though, which helps with calculations a bit. It's a fascinating subject, makes you think about how much we don't know... and what it takes to accomplish everyday tasks.

Do you know anything that at first sounds really cool until you know what it really is?

For example Plasma cutting...I thought that sounded cool, until I found out it was basicly cutting metal with an ingreadably hot stream of argon.
I can't think of anything right now, but may I ask a question?

What did you expect plasma cutting to be, and how is cutting metal with an ionized argon stream not awesome?

Also: Wait, what? Plasma is ionized gas, right? How can you ionize argon?
yah...argon is a noble gas...how do you ionize it??? Plasma cutting just became cool again.
I'm guessing magic...

Hey! I love osmosis, hypo and hypertonic solutions 'n stuff! I even wrote on an exam that a red blood cell in a hypotonic solution is asplode! I got full credit too. Maybe it's just because I love saying big words like "Zwitterion" and "plasmolyze".

Sorry about that mini rant. No disrespect cool?
It's always good to see someone enjoying what they do =D . Gratz on getting full credit too.
