Agreed. Even though some of the shit is incredibly silly, it's still unique and was original for the time. All the new parody movies tell the same fucking jokes that everyone has already told over and over and are riddled with lame ass pop culture references. Turns out that's not actually funny at all, and when you do it to films that are (or at least claim to be) comedies then all you're doing is badly recreating jokes that were (sort of) funny in their original context and completely lame when you do a piss poor job of imitating them. Or put another way, you've created the cinematic equivalent of all the idiots who were running around saying "I'm Rick James, *****!" when they are A) Not Chappelle and B) Not funny, because they are not bloody Chappelle [http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=chappelle].

I already said as much. It's regurgitation. People have been doing it for years. Mel Brooks has done it. The Zuckermans have done it. Lots of people were disappointed with Zombieland because it actually took a fair amount of time to develop the characters. Why be disappointed? Because some people just want 90 minutes of fuggin' zombies.
Some people just really can't be bothered to care about who's joke it is, care about the characters, or care about the plot/writing- at least some of the time. Think of it as Gonzo Pornography, but with less naked people and more jokes.
That was horrible, truly horrible, I can't stand spoof films.

I internally smirked when the girl got hit by the car, but only because I thought the film was going to systematically kill off all these people before one guy is left to scream "This Film Is So Bad I had Everyone Killed!"
