I already said as much. It's regurgitation. People have been doing it for years. Mel Brooks has done it. The Zuckermans have done it. Tons of people are constantly repackaging and retelling jokes they saw or heard somewhere else. People still do it, because it's still funny, cheap as it may be. Get over it.
There's a whole lot of variety to
how you tell a joke. I'm as much a fan of low brow humour as the next guy but I still demand some sense and style and comic timing.

There's also a flip-side to this. Take 40 year old virgin for instance. Why bother cramming a done to death love story into an excuse to make filthy gags for 90 minutes? Can't I just have 90 minutes of filthy gags?
Lots of people were disappointed with Zombieland because it actually took a fair amount of time to develop the characters. Why be disappointed? Because some people just want 90 minutes of fuggin' zombies.
Maybe it targeted an audience that wanted more than just filthy gags? At any rate, I didn't really like 40 year old virgin that much and I haven't seen Zombieland. However, they are hardly comparable to something like Naked Gun or Airplane! or the stuff Mel Brooks did. Those films actually had some kind of narrative, a point they were making, and an original take on the things they parodied, hence actually being parodies instead of just recreating scenes from other movies in bad taste.

Some people just really can't be bothered to care about who's joke it is, care about the characters, or care about the plot/writing- at least some of the time. Think of it as Gonzo Pornography, but with less naked people and more jokes.
It's not about "whose joke it is". I can appreciate the fact that not everyone goes to see a film because they want an amazing story or beautiful art direction or ingenious lighting that emphasizes the points the director is trying to make. I think The Hangover was a good film, lots of fun, not much in the way of characters or plot except what was necessary to get the characters to the next funny scene.
But if a comedy doesn't have anything resembling a plot or characters or a point they're trying to make, then where does the comedy come from? Poor retelling of jokes that somebody told better? Poorly recreating iconic scenes? Well, if that's comedy, I just don't find it very funny.
