So I recently watched the movie and played the game with my fiance, it calls for small sips at some points, large sips at others, and downing your entire drink at a couple of points.

Two of those points are about 2 minutes apart. When they go in the red room, and again right away when they use props. I've never been drunk in my life because I don't drink for the effect of alchohol but I was feeling it then. We chose to do this with mixed drinks. Root Beer Rumchata floats (highly recommended BTW), vodka and OJ or vodka and cranberry. We were defeated with about 20 minutes to go.

We want to do this again though, with an actual good movie since alchohol was the only way I was able to make it through 50 shades.

List your movie and the rules of your game, bring it bitches!

Harry Potter - Whichever movie you like best. Take a shot anytime someone uses a spell. Two shots if they don't speak the spell they are using.

The Matrix - One shot for every slo-mo scene, two shots if it involves guns.

The Lord of the Rings drinking game! The rules are simple...

- Drink whenever there is a close up of the ring.
- Drink whenever there is a panoramic screen shot.
- Drink whenever Merry and Pippin get up to shenanigans.
- Drink whenever Frodo wanders away from the group.
- Drink whenever Gandalf is serious.
- Drink whenever Legolas states the obvious.
- Drink whenever Legolas looks off into the distance.
- Drink whenever the ring is called "my precious".

-Whenever Chewie growls
-Whenever one or more characters has a conversation with R2, who only beeps back
-Whenever an alien understands English, but can't speak it back

Any of the Bourne movies
-Bourne runs
-Bourne has a flashback
-Bourne uses an everyday item as a weapon

Any movie within the MCU:-Whenever the main character's name is said (One for real name, two for their [hero] persona)
-Whenever any character says something humorous
-Whenever the villain monologues (Make it a double)
-Whenever main character's/movie's theme is played
-Whenever it references other MCU movies/content lore (A bit tricky, given how this could include set pieces not reference in dialogue exchanges...)
-Whenever it references something off-camera (Bonus round!)<color=white>Remember to drink [drunk] responsibly...

I'm pretty sure you can be accused of attempted murder for suggesting that.

I nominate Laserblast, specifically Laserblast with commentary from Mystery Science Theater 3000. Take a drink every time you laugh at something, anything. It doesn't even have to be related to what you're watching!

My favourite drinking game is the simplest, yet also one of the most deadly...

1- Drink whenever the word "Smurf" is spoken
2- Drink whenever there is any reference to the colour blue (Optional)

Never done it myself as I need to have friends over to make the experience more fun (as well as to possibly call an ambulance) and none of mine have ever been willing to do it. They are far more sensible people than I am.

I still like the simplicity of the Dune drinking game:

1: Drink whenever someone mentions the Spice.
1.5: drink once more if they call it "the Spice melange"
2: drink whenever someone mentions worms.

There are a few option extra scenes to drink, but this is enough to kill a person.

That seems a bit vague. Be like saying "take a shot anytime fires a gun in an action movie".

Anyhoo, going to post this here, one of a series of five:

One that I came up with is the Highlander drinking game. It works well for the movies or the tv show.

1. Anytime Queen is played, take a shot (or sip, or whatever, the quantity per trigger is up to your personal tolerance)

2. Anytime someone pulls a sword from an outfit that obviously couldn't have been hiding it in the previous shot. (this is especially true for the tv show)

3. Anytime the villain says "MACLOOOOOUD!" In a menacing, gravely voice.

4. Anytime they mention the Gathering, or the Quickening.

5. Anytime there is a Quickening.

6. Anytime there is a flashback. (If there is a flashback within a flashback, you have to double up.)

7. Forgot to add this one. Anytime an immortal gets that tingling sensation when another immortal is around.

I've only done one movie drinking game, and that was for The Boondock Saints. We only had one rule: drink whenever somebody swears.

I would not suggest these rules to anybody, but back when I was in university, I got to bear witness to the Dragonheart drinking game...played by a couple of my friends with beer steins of Crown Royal.

The rules were as follows:

- If the dragon flies, take a drink.
- If the dragon breathes fire, take two drinks.
- If somebody gets impaled, chug.

If you haven't seen this movie, there are things you should know about it...

- The first thing that happens is somebody gets impaled.
- There are multiple scenes where the dragon takes off, flaps his wings two or three times, lands again, takes off, etc.

This game reduced my friends to tears. To this day, they will not watch Dragonheart again.

Some friends and I once tried the My Immortal Drinking Game.

Holy hell, never again.

I don't even remember how far we got.

Well not a movie...
But pick any random Pokemon episode:
Whenever a new pokemon appears on screen (1 sip)
Whenever a pokemon talks (ie sais its name 1 sip)
When Brock falls for a girl (2 sips)
When Ash pulls his cap backwards (5 sips)
If Ash wins a pokemon battle (5 sips)
If Ash wins a badge (drink the rest of your current drink)
When Team rocket appears and do their intro thing (waterafall = drink for as long as it's going on)

I think that was all...

The episode I got would've killed me and my mate since it was the one were 27 Pikachus are chanting "pika pika pikachu" at the moon for about 10 seconds... We decided to just down our current drink and anotherone on that to make it even, and not count 27 times amount of chants since that would be seriously deadly...
