Well neither. It is real time strategy game, viewed from above. The gameplay is somewhat like DoW2, you choose 4 differnt characters between missions, they learn new abilities and there is a highly interactive and destructable enviroment. It is great fun climbing onto a tall building and then shoving an enemy off the endge, or just picking up a car and hurling at someone.Soviet Heavy said:I think I saw an ad for it in an old gaming magazine that's long been out of print. Was it a 3rd Person game or a turn based?Rikkano said:I got the Freedom Pack (Freedom Force + FF vs the 3rd Reich) off steam the other day for 3 euro. I have enjoyed it tremendously the last days.
Anyone heard of it ot tried it?
I recently delved back into that. Got a couple of projects I want to get around to.Esotera said:Currently 12/25 threads on the front page are about ME3 for me...urgh.
Has anyone else still been playing minecraft recently? Despite all the negative press 1.0 got about being rushed it's actually really good now...the game seems finished for once, although I'm fairly sure they'll continue adding more stuff.
That game were basically my youth. I still have 2 disk copies lying about, one of them got played so much it got ruined so I bought it again.Ectoplasmicz said:I was going to turn this into a bacon related thread but then I realised that I'm in gaming discussion.

Forget Silent Hill, we need to be talking about Blades of Time!Optiluiz said:How come there'a no hype for Silent Hill Downpour? Nobody mentioned anything about it, but Jim Sterling made a great review of it somewhere.
Wasn't X-Blade that Russian pseudo Anime game where you run around in a thong that looks like white pubes?Irridium said:Forget Silent Hill, we need to be talking about Blades of Time!Optiluiz said:How come there'a no hype for Silent Hill Downpour? For those who don't know, which is probably everyone, Blades of Time is a reboot of X-Blade.
For some reason, it seems only Jim Sterling has been covering the game. Hell, Konami didn't even announce it until a few days AFTER it was released. Seriously, Jim Sterling was the only damn person covering Blades of Time.

Strangest part is that the game doesn't look half-bad.
Pretty much, yeah.Soviet Heavy said:Wasn't X-Blade that Russian pseudo Anime game where you run around in a thong that looks like white pubes?Irridium said:Forget Silent Hill, we need to be talking about Blades of Time!Optiluiz said:How come there'a no hype for Silent Hill Downpour? From what I can tell, only way to get into the beta at this point is to pre-order, unfortunately.Soviet Heavy said:And they made a sequel? Moving on. Sins of a Solar Empire is pretty damn awesome, and I've been playing around with a lot of the mods, like the Star Wars mod. I'm pretty excited for Rebellion, and I heard there is a beta coming out for it? How do I sign up for the beta?
SAME! I had to re-buy it because my first disk got so burnt out from being played so much.Rikkano said:That game were basically my youth. Well is the game good enough to have any hype? Personally I'm wary of any game that claims to be Silent Hill but isn't Silent Hill 1~4Optiluiz said:How come there's no hype for Silent Hill Downpour? Nobody mentioned anything about it, but Jim Sterling made a great review of it somewhere.

I'm putting together a kickstarter fund right now, and for a symbolic donation of $49.99 you can have the alpha version and ten extra internetsEsotera said:Would you be willing to share this script? I think you bought an incomplete game. All the DLC characters are on the disc.Hazy992 said:Street Fighter x Tekken! Anyone else playing it? Whadya think?
