Well neither. It is real time strategy game, viewed from above. The gameplay is somewhat like DoW2, you choose 4 differnt characters between missions, they learn new abilities and there is a highly interactive and destructable enviroment. It is great fun climbing onto a tall building and then shoving an enemy off the endge, or just picking up a car and hurling at someone.Soviet Heavy said:

I'd avoid it on the PC. The game's DRM makes it pretty... screwy.
Though your mileage may vary. Maybe you'll have better luck with it.
Anyway, I was disappointed with Soulcalibur 5. Instead of doing what the other games did, which was let you beat people then see a character's 1-2 minute ending cutscene which gave a bit of details about him/her (there was even an ending cutscene for custom characters. Wasn't too fancy, but I appreciated it), it got rid of that to focus on one new character and his story. Which while not necessarily a bad thing, the story was the same quality as the short, 1-2 minute cutscenes. So you had that, stretched over a few hours. Plus, the offline options were pretty bare, which is a shame.
Character creator is pretty cool though. Managed to make The Invisible Man. Though the only fighting style that suited him was Devil Jin, so now he can fly and shoot lasers out of his eyes. A suitable compromise, I think.

For some reason, it seems only Jim Sterling has been covering the game. Hell, Konami didn't even announce it until a few days AFTER it was released. Seriously, Jim Sterling was the only damn person covering Blades of Time.

Strangest part is that the game doesn't look half-bad.
First a big shout out to Binary Domain. Most underrated tps in a long time.
Second if you`re lucky with the matchmaking and get decent teams together Gotham city impostors is a great fun (even if i suck at it). I have high hopes for the upcomming free update.

Moving on. Sins of a Solar Empire is pretty damn awesome, and I've been playing around with a lot of the mods, like the Star Wars mod. I'm pretty excited for Rebellion, and I heard there is a beta coming out for it? How do I sign up for the beta?

I'll share once it's a more complete script, right now it is all hardcoded phrases and the specific pages, I need to make it more flexible so people can edit their own filters to work across the entire site, maybe even on other browsers.
But it is quite daunting when you go into the forums and it loads a blank page, had to add a blocked counter so I don't wonder if the script broke or the entire page actually is just about one game.
