In a book I read recently, written by a Sven Hassel who fought in all kinds of german tanks, he said that german technical superiority was a myth, and that stuff like the Panther and other tanks, altough brilliant on paper, were rushed in production before being properly tested. Thus they would break down or even catch on fire.Ultratwinkie said:actually russian tanks are one of the worst tanks ever built. Even in World War II Russian tanks wouldn't stand much of a chance against a Panther or a King Tiger. Technically the MAUS shouldn't be in World of Tanks as it was never IN service. Only 2 were ever built and 1 was captured by russians and integrated into their tanks schematics. However, the tanks produced even after the MAUS's capture were still mediocre compared to the rest of the world.Ephraim J. Witchwood said:The Russians know how to build shit so it doesn't break. First the AK, then invinci-tank. Jesus.PurpleSky said:A word of warning, alot of people have the late game tanks russian and german tanks, like IS-7 or Maus, so you might just end up in a fight like this :Ephraim J. Witchwood said:'MERICA! FUCK YEAH!
Seriously, I'm gonna download this, it looks badass.
This was of course in older versions, and they patched it, so you probably won't.But stranger things have happened.
I also read that up until the tiger and panther tanks, they had very little to match against the russian t34's in particular.
So all and all, I think you could give it another thought.
well they don't drift in the game, maybe it seemed like itGigathrash said:I just saw a tank drift. I call shenanigans.
