I'm surprised nobody has posted this yet.

As much as I LOVE that song I agree with @Dimitriov; unless everyone in the world is somehow Christian by the time we meet these aliens, that song would not be appropriate. And unless all languages but one died out then we're better off with an orchestral anthem.

OT: I have no clue what would make a good anthem. Sorry =(

I think any national anthem for Earth should either be classical piano, orchestrated classical, or good old hockey-esque "your grandma's really fucking old stand up piano".

No one can deny that this anthem beats every other anthem with the stock of an AK-47 and a boot to the teeth. The Motherland shall rise again, she is just resting.

C&C made me love the Soviets, or at least the military.
