Another vote for "just trolling". People on XBL don't care at all about what you believe, honestly, they're just hoping to distract you so that they can teabag you faster.

Sometimes they do it because they are trolls, sometimes they do it because they're bloody idiots.

Ah, PSN... where you never have to fear verbal abuse because you can never hear what the hell people are saying... :3
It's true, but at least it's calm :)
Indeed it is. Nothing but the occasional trophy to break the immersion.

This is why I rarely play Xbox Live anymore unless I'm playing with friends.

For some reason Microsoft thought it would be a good idea to give everyone a headset.

morons...

Makes them feel big. Maybe they get bullied for having tiny penis' and they just want to feel above other people. Or maybe they're just assholes you never know. One of those two though

Huh, never seen this. I knew one person like this in real life, but they were insufferable about anything that wasn't their own opinion.

It's not ever anti- religion.
See there are people who will correct something you say.
Example:
-pls give me gold
-it's 'please' not 'pls' you moron! (true)
so... if you mention god, then somebody will point out that god has nothing to do with that sentence and does not exist (true).
Pedantic people, that's all, i guess.

Personally, I hate religion, but not having faith in higher powers. I'm cool with people wanting to believe in a god and talking to him (even if they come off as a bit crazy sometimes). I just can't stand the "Organized Religion" part of the whole thing. To me, Religion (not faith) is a huge scam to get people to pay a tax free service that does nothing but give you their idea of what the bible means. Hell, the stuff in the bible may just be a really old story that we're all taking too seriously. Why should people have to pay for that service and why the hell is it even a service in the first place?
? As far as I know, you don't have to pay anything to any religion in order to be part of it, or to receive their service. You can donate $5 each Sunday to your local church to support the mass service, but it's certainly not mandatory. If your talking about those "preachers" that preform "miracles" for money, then yes those are scam artists, and I wouldn't call them being truly religious at all.

I'm an athiest, but I don't really think it's right to bash someones religion unprovoked. If someone tells me that I'm living in sin or that I'm going to Hell, then I get a bit pissed off. The guys over the internet take it too far though.

All it is is dumb people trolling.

Everyone deserves to have their own opinion and nobody should call anybody out on their beliefs as long as their beliefs are not based on hate. I personally am a theist, so I believe in some form of a God, and I follow the virtues and adhere to the beliefs of Taoism. I believe what I believe based off of lots of research and thought on the matter, and nobody should be calling me out or judging me based on my spiritual beliefs.
