Subject Sass, The Crucible is a great book. It's actually historically accurate too. Which is kinda scary at the same time.
"Now while Proctor and Abigail are fighting, Betty is lying on the bed finding it harder to ignore everything. She finally releases a large scream to which she then attempts to run to the window, flapping her arms as if she may fly away. She is crying for her mommy when Abigail tells her to shut up and then slaps her. Amongst the clamor Parris and the Putnams proceed to run into the room to find out what happened. Betty quickly runs back to the bed and resumes her lifeless posture. It is then that the Putnams believe it to be witchcraft because they were saying the Lord's Prayer downstairs and Betty must have heard it..."

Subject Sass, I'm basically doing a recap of Act 1. Also, this is of actually recorded events of the Salem Witch Trails. Abigail was a real person and she was the one who started accusing people of being witches because she either didn't like them or they knew too much.
Subject Ren, you like no?
"Now enter the girls Mercy and Marry. Mercy comes to tell the Putnams that their daughter is doing better. As soon as they receive the news the Putnams, Parris, and Proctor go to see Ruth. Now with the girls alone they begin to speak, panicking about what may happen if they don't stop and deciding on whether to tell the truth and come clean now. They say that they only will be wipped and if they continue it'll get worse. This is when Abigail threatens all the girls saying that if they tell the truth she will go into their houses at night and murder them in there sleep. Describing how easy it is because she tells of how her parents were murdered with a pillow next to her..."
I am not joking. Abagail is a freaking psycho.

Also, funny thing is that before my AP English Language class checked out the book my cousin told me that they were doing the Crucible for Drama. The Crucible is a play you see.
