Thanks for this. I've been here for over a year but as well refused to comment on possible TNT threads because of fear of being banned when wanting to voice my opinion. Now I know all the Tiers and such more clearly it's giving a bit off my mind and maybe I'll post a little be more (within the rules and terms of course, silly) then 500 a year or less.
Sidenote: Am I the only one who finds it funny the very first poster after the OP was banned, and not one too far away from that post as well? Ironic a bit, if I could say so.

Just to give you a clear answer - Swearing at other users to insult/provoke is not ever ok! However I and the other moderators don't see a problem with swearing in say RP game threads as part of a character in a story or swearing to implement non-aggressive opinion in a post e.g. "This game is the shit" or "This game was shit because...". Also whilst there is technically no iron set problem with making forum threads with swear words in the title - so long as the topic and discussion is valid we would prefer you refrained from doing so explicitly e.g. instead of saying ... is shit, say $H1% - and just avoid using the more aggressive insults/words. The reason for this being that the Escapist is a family friendly site with forum users as young as 13 or younger and undoubtedly many viewers of the forums of younger age - thus we do not condone the promotion of curse words and inappropriate content.Lord Krunk said:
