I love them both too, but Room on Fire just seems so much more polished to me. It could also be that while listening to that album I first started to really find my music taste.TeeBs said:A rare specimen, A Strokes fan who doesn't put Is This It over Room on Fire.Nimcha said:http://images.uulyrics.com/cover/t/the-strokes/album-room-on-fire.jpg
So amazing. <3 Every song is inch perfect.
Both fucking great albums though.
I figured that was enough food for thought. Great album though. I sense you could find this quite interesting if you enjoyed all those albums.Death_Korps_Kommissar said:Dude...Dark Knifer said:Having not heard ever album that has ever existed, I am not qualified to name the best album of all time.

You ninja'd me on every single one of those =\
Though I think Scars on Broadway's album deserves a mention.
I've struggled to figure out which of the two is better for a while. I still don't think I could say. While my favourite Strokes song, Ask Me Anything, is on the 3rd album, the first two are just start to finish amazing.TeeBs said:A rare specimen, A Strokes fan who doesn't put Is This It over Room on Fire.Nimcha said:http://images.uulyrics.com/cover/t/the-strokes/album-room-on-fire.jpg

After 5 years of writing it better be good. Though I really want to see what direction they are going.Nimcha said:I love them both too, but Room on Fire just seems so much more polished to me. No, nothing has outsold Thriller. Just because Michael Jackson did some things to kids that would have made him appear on Dateline doesn't mean his music isn't great.Xartyve2 said:You're kidding right?demoman_chaos said:Nothing can match Thriller, it is the single best selling album of all time for a reason.
