I've always enjoyed the Crissaegrim sword from Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night.

As far as Firearms go, I've always *really* liked the old Red Faction Rail Gun.

For an Armored Vehichle, I'd take Warhammer 40k Dreadnought or an Atlas class BattleMech.

Moving on up the scale, I'd choose a Ur-Quan Khor-Ah Marauder class Starship.

The Banana Bomb.
Hell, I'd nominate almost the entire Worms armoury.
Holy Hand Grenade FTW!
Nothing beats the donkey.
I will go with the Portal gun, because it would be useful in more ways than shooting people.

OT: I'd say the M9 in Modern Warfare 2. It just looks and feels so incredible!
The M9 is the standard issue side-arm for the US military, a great many police departments in the nation and is in the arsenels of many of the world's other military powers. The weapon is hardly creative. It is ubiquitous in real life and it makes it's appearance in virtually ever shooter set in a modern or slightly future time.
I chose the most standard, unoriginal, and flat at boring gun out of any game it appears in for a reason, mate. Sarcasm is hard over the internetz, I know. But still, try harder next time, hm?

I don't think "best" necessarily means "most creative" or vice versa. The beam katanas in No More Heroes are the best illustration of this. The Tsubaki mk-ii is far more creative than the mk-iii, but the mk-iii is the superior weapon.

That said, Best weapon - BFG9000 for the sheer "MUHAHAHA" factor. Most creative weapon - I have to give the nod to Dead Rising for letting you use almost anything as a weapon (squirt guns, soccer balls, etc) regardless of said weapon's lethality.

Um, lets see, All Yahtzee asid was Shurikens and Lightning, i dont remeber the Tree trunk one.

So sorry, he stole the words out of MY mouth, now get back to watching Zero Punctuation because no one likes it when people correct other peoples post for no apparent reason just to be a Mr.Know-It-All about it.

In Fracture, theres a rocket launcher that you shoot at the ground and it moves forward under the dirt til you set it off with ur trigger. its awesome for getting people behind cover

Given the number of people who have posted TF2 weapons, I'm surprised no one has mentioned:

Best weapon would be the Ryno from Ratchet and Clank Going Commando (it kills anything and everything.)
It's spelled "Ryno" for "Rip you a new one"
That's my favourite Ryno from any R+C game. 100 shots in a fully automatic missile launcher that completely destroys basically any enemy in less than 5 rockets.
thats what i was thinking about.

yahtzee did mention the tree trunk one, he just called it the "satisfying penis extention gun that pins baddies to wall with entire trees"

VERY easy.... The cerebral bore from Turok 2 N64. It shot a homing projectile that I was only to escape ONCE in the years I played it in multiplayer that burrows into the assailants head and blends his brain into goo that shoots out of their ears.

the keyblade

also in kingdom hearts 358/2 days in mission mode if you equip the casual or mysrery gear weapon panials your weapons will become some funny things like saix's bannana, marlexia's ladle or axle's pizzas and other funny things

I'd say the Farsight rifle from Perfect Dark 64. It was the first gun that introduced me to shooting through walls, something i've come to expect in all games today. Main reason why I like it is that I had a cousin who liked to back himself into corners and camp out till' I walked by. Farsight put a stop to that real quick. :)

I'd say that and the Rock-It launcher, which is really only a glorified Gravity Gun. Still though, a quick trip to the teddy bear factory in the world of Fallout 3 quickly turned that gun into one of the most hilarious tools of destruction I've ever used. *THOOM* *squeek* *THOOM* *squeek* *THOOM* *squeek* also having it along with the Bloody Mess perk made multiplied the fun. *THOOM* *squSPLATTER*

Ahhh... good times.
