The reclining chairs...I couldn't care less about Wolverine, I was just spending two hours sipping Pepsi in a big ol' comfy-ass chair.
Dude you are so awesome for being able to have a good time drinking a five dollar pepsi in a chair that has god knows how many bodily fluids in it after paying 10-12 bucks to see an undoubtedly horrible piece of shit movie.

I'm not being sarcastic at all, that would've ruined my day if I had done it.

Props dude.

OT: Trippin' balls at Shutter Island. I actually felt like I was losing my sanity. Maybe I actually did.
Ah, see, I did not fully express why this was my best experience:
This movie theater was new, the tickets were only £6, the drink and popcorn was only £4, so everything was crazy-ass cheap, plus this screen had only been opened for the first time 5 minutes before our viewing,so the chairs were still padded and not broken in and everything smelt fresh. There was no sticky floor, no crackly speakers, no creaky curtain reveal for the film and it has as close to a HD viewing as you can get on such a large screen. Also, because it was during time off, there were no annoying kids...

THAT is why it was awesome.
Actually when you put it like that, even Wolverine would've been awesome. Props again.

I don't remember the movie, just the girl I was with. We 'saw' a lot of movies together. I even remember some of them.

My group of friends laughing at just about every scene in Watchmen. Most of the crowd joined in with us when we were at the "You are my favourite part of getting raped" scene.

Sin City.

me and a mate went there because we didn't have anything to do on friday afternoon and we just bought tickets to the first movie that wasn't for kids on the list.

when we stepped out it took a while to fully grasp how awesome that had been.

My buddy and I saw the Yugioh movie.
First showing so we could get the cards.
We're the first people in the theater, we watch as they open the big box full of cards, then we head to the actual theater room.

The front was full of like, beanbag chairs and stuff since it was the kids theater. We built a sweet fort out of them before the movie started and watched it from within our fort.
The fort was vastly better than the movie, and the cards are all pretty useless.

I went to see Quantum of Solace at one of the oldest cinemas in England. That was AWESOME. It was black tie and free booze. (I say free, by which I mean I had paid a small fortune to be there)

It's a shame the film sucked.

My other favourite cinema experience was going to see the The Simpsons on it's first day of release. I remember I bought the last four tickets for a particular showing and was waiting outside for my friends to show up, when a family came out with their two kids in tears because they couldn't see the film.

I was sick of waiting for my friends (2 DAMN hours) so I just gave them my tickets and made those two kids the happiest kids on the planet (at least for that split second.)Although I never saw the film, it was really satisfying helping out someone I didn't know or was otherwise obliged to help out. (my buddies rolled up not much later and we went bowling instead.)

When I went to see Watchmen the first time. The only people in the theater were me, my dad, and my uncle, and we kept saying random stuff all through the movie. It was at a Movie Tavern too, so they served us food and stuff as well.

Awesome.

Watching Star Trek in a movie theatre with no one but me and my 2 friends. It was pretty sweet, we felt like we owned it.
