I'm surprised that them being far-fetched is an issue when we consider Sands of Time is based around a man who kills zombies made of sand and then absorbs them with his dagger which can also freeze and reverse time.Jovlo said:The first game that jumps into my head is Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
It was kind of a sad ending but made the story complete.
The sequels to it were farfetched in my opinion and not really needed, storywise.
Agreed, the best endings are ones that actually, y'know, end.Stammer said:Any game that doesn't scream "sequel" has a good ending in my eyes, though.
I agree no question mark. He telling everyone let's talk about this.TheIceface said:Be that as it may, there is a difference between insults and criticism. I can see how your initial post could be interpreted as a question since you used the inquisitive "why" in the sentence. I'm actually a bit torn on this issue, while the sentence is in the format of the question, one could see it as an alternative way of saying "Now, let us talk about the best game endings."AmandaGamer86 said:Thanks jerk off i wasn't posting it as a question it would be like me saying why don't you F%%% off. Its not a question so much as a suggestion (yes this if for you nilcypher why don't you contribute instead of acting like a two year old correcting everyone, this thread is for gamers who want to have a good time and contribute not losers who insult people.
I think we should vote on the question mark, does it belong at the end of that sentence or not?
I vote for the period, otherwise we would all have to answer the question "why not talk about this?" with replies like "I don't talk about good endings because they make me unhappy." and everyone would be confused.
(Oh yeah, another ending I liked was COD 4, for me the game ended when the American character died, I enjoyed the rest, but that was a good story ending; "...and he did not live happily ever after, the end.")
No, actually, it's not.Th3 Se7enth said:I agree no question mark. He telling everyone let's talk about this.
I think it's an imperative sentence because he is kind of telling us everyone talk about it.
The original sentence is correct.
I hated the junction system and didn't like the overall story as much as other FF's but that was a good ending, and the party at the end was fun fan fluff that I wish more game devs would include.Joeshie said:How has noone said Final Fantasy VIII yet? I can understand if you like other Final Fantasy games more than VIII, but it had the best ending out of the entire series.
I probably would have said something like Final Fantasy VII or Final Fantasy VIII, but I haven't played either game since I was too young to remember things like that. Sorry ; ;Joeshie said:How has noone said Final Fantasy VIII yet? I can understand if you like other Final Fantasy games more than VIII, but it had the best ending out of the entire series.
Uhhh... what? Contradiction.shatnershaman said:Halo 2 for the reason is had a great one liner cliffhanger (also why the ending sucks)
