Oh hell, I've played that. I know a lot of people who have. Great game, though the controls were a bit terrible.

Yes, Nox was awesome, it's been a while since I've last played it.

I don't know if anyone knows Redevilopment, but still, it's pretty awesome (for a student made game), too bad you can't save you progress.

I have. Don't play it anymore because I suck, but I have.

Anyone heard of Vigilante 8?
Hell yeah, Gridlock was my fav weapon, cause small amount of damage and stall the engine... thereby being able to FUCK THEIR SHIT UP.

Carmageddon I and II

Hell, even TDR2000 was fun even though carmageddon fans seemed to hate it.

It's like football, but with cars...and no ball. You just drive around with giant cars and slam the bejeezus out of other people and cars.

I have no idea why nobody isn't making another game on this concept. It's such a simple concept. Put wacky cars in wacky urban terrain. Put in civilians to run over. Throw in some car upgrades and that's it! If you like you can even put a race track in it (but nobody ever bothers using them).

Those sandbox games like GTA and Saints row keep trying to punish you for smashing things up with your car, so even those don't count.

Also: Does anybody remember Drakan?
You now know 3 guys who heard of it *waves*

But yeah, I do love Nox and pretty much everyone I know isn't even aware of the existence of that game.

Operation Flashpoint/Arma
Eternal Darkness (saw someone else mention it- w00t)

I haven't played medieval but I have played the hell out of Rome: Total War (we're talking about the total war games in the same vein as Rome, Shogun, and Medieval 2 right?)

Darkwatch sounds fucking awesome. Might have to look into it if it's backwards compatable.

The Hunter for PS1, it's awesome but impossible to find. Also, as far as I'm aware it becomes physically impossible to progress after a certain point, the two copies that I'm aware exist both crash at the same level.

I loved that game when I was younger so your not the only one who knows it.

OT: My collection has always been fairly mainstream so the most good obscure one I own is Pandamonium.
