The factory items process made me suffer a migraine, but blitz ball is the best mini gameBelmontClan said:Blitzball in FFX
Triple Triad in FFVIII (yes the game is a big bowl of nonsense but the card game is addicting)
Making factory items/weapons in Rogue Galaxy (because it actually involves a lot of thought in the more complex recipes)
Fucking hell.AjimboB said:The minigame in Spy Fox in Dry Cereal (an old point and click children's adventure game) that can you play on your wrist watch.
Basically it was a side scrolling shooter where you took control of a transforming vehicle. When you were underwater it was a submarine, when you raised yourself onto the surface it turned into a boot, and then you could go even higher, and start flying by turning yourself into a plane. The submarine fired sub sandwiches, and the plane fired plungers.
What? Shut up, it was fun as hell when I was a kid.
Putt Putt, Freddie Fish, Pajama Sam. I played 'em all.AjimboB said:You're the first person I've ever met who's played that game. Soul mates? Edutainment at it's finest.

On topic: Blitzball in Final Fantasy X was good, but I've always loved Triple Triad from FFVIII the most of any mini-games. Damn I enjoyed playing that, not to mention that the cards could help you in the game, too.
Oh. My. God. Yes.AjimboB said:The minigame in Spy Fox in Dry Cereal (an old point and click children's adventure game) that can you play on your wrist watch.
This and then some. Any time I pick up a deck of cards all I can hear in my head is the Triple Triad music.teqrevisited said:I don't normally do card games but Triple Triad was just one big addictive time-sink for me.
I remember spending a good two hours or so at the start of FF8, just after the Fire Cavern, stealing everyone's cards. I just ran up to virtually every npc in the game spamming the square button, and cursing every time they wanted to reintroduce the Random rule.
