I'm going to echo Requiem for a Dream, and add in Hunger. That was extremely painful to watch, but I'm glad I did.

I have 3 films that I could quite happily never watch again.

The first being Garden State, Zach Braffs vanity project in which nothing happens. Nothing. Its the film equivalant of watching paint dry, if you aren't falling asleep by the time the hamster/gerbil/guini pig funeral comes around you are a stronger man than me and the ending is just so cliche'd that if you don't see it coming then I suggest you watch more films. This film put me off Scrubs and Zach Braff for a long time.

The next being Adventure Land, in which Kristen Stewart yet again fails to grasp the idea of acting in a film. Seriously who keeps giving this woman jobs, she can't act, she has like one character which is the sort of bemused, shy girl routine who speaks in sentences of maybe three or four words at a time. She isn't even that attractive. Yes I know this one is basically a rant about how much Kristen Stewart sucks but I cannot for the life of me remember anything else about this film other than its just slightly better than Garden State because it has Judas Priests "Breaking The Law" in the soundtrack.

The final one is the remake of The Day The Earth stood still starring Keanu Reeves in which everything enjoyable about the original which was basically a piss take of anti communist and anti Soviet paranoia that was being exploited in the films of the time (Invasion of the Body Snatchers etc) was sucked out and replaced it with an incredibly preachy message about environmentalism. Ok yeah, we are fucking up the planet which is going to destroy us all, b did you really need to destroy a classic film to make your point?

How Green Was My Valley; Pretty much the same as others. I would be less invested in the characters, and it has a somewhat oppressive atmosphere.

Memento. You just can't watch it twice. Most of the movie is trying to figure the whole thing out, and once you do it's disappointingly obvious the second time around.

Probably Schindler's List, although it was beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking and reduced me to tears (okay, an easy feat, but still, I was **bawling**).
Requiem for a Dream which I saw mentioned a few times is probably a close second. Good movie, but it made me sick to my stomach.
Schindler's List for sure. Also, THAT soundtrack is heart rending.

Great movie. I watched it actually right before going to visit Auschwitz. I'll tell you, the huts they stayed in were actually colder than outside. And it was winter.

On a more cheerful note: I thought "I Am Number Four" would be one of those one hit wonders, but I'd happily watch that movie again.

Easy. The Game.
If you haven't seen it, for the love of god, DON'T GOOGLE IT! It'll ruin it for you.

Forgot about Kaze no Stigma. Fuck, now you've reminded me...

Anyway, there are a bunch of movies I really enjoyed, but don't see myself watching again any time soon. Black Swan, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and A Clockwork Orange come to mind.

I Am Legend. Its one of Will Smith's best films but the scene with the dog made me feel things that men should not be allowed to feel.
Oh you rat bastard! I had buried those feelings a long time ago. Now I must smoother my 2 dogs in affection until the tears stop flowing from my eyes. One of the reason I can't watch "8 Below".

*****

My list also includes "Harsh Times". Great movie; never going to watch it again.

EVent Horizon and Session 9 both come to mind. AWESOME Physcological thrillers, the first time you watch them. They both lose a lot of that "thriller" feel on repeat veiwings.

As an Honorable Mention, the Blair Witch Project. Great for the first viewing, crappy after that.

Shit, ninja'd by the OP.

Grave of the Fireflies is one of the best anime movies I've ever seen. But if I ever watch it again, I may commit suicide.

They'll find me in my bathtub with my wrists slit, with the words "Grave of the Fireflies" written on the wall in my own blood. That will tell them everything they need to know.

You missed the point entirely, good sir and/or madame. It's the BEST movie you never want to see again (or The best movie you Never Whant Yo See Again, if you prefer), not the worst. That's a different forum post, I think.

OT: I think it's amazing that Requiem for a Dream is mostly on this list, because I could watch it again, although doing it again, I might be numb to the experience to feel the same shock I did the first time, which is really bad considering I watched A Serbian Film twice.

As for me, I almost hardly, if ever watch good movies again. It's obviously that they are not bad, but I don't feel like I'm getting anything else out of the movie by watching it again.

I can rewatch Fritz Lang's Metropolis right now, I will see something I missed the first five times I watched it. I can watch Inception a fourth time, Avatar a fifth time (the extended cut my sister bought my first time), and I won't feel like there is anything to it. It's not that they are bad, just that they are... well, rather cut and dry. As much as people hated Zack Snyder's Watchmen, I find more in it in minute details than Dark Knight on my 6th viewing.

Kaze no Stigma(Good series but ends with a frustrating cliffhanger and the author Died before he could finish the story)

But to be specific I would say inglorious bastards
