The Best Sword-Sporting Character

This is a thread to discuss your favorite video game characters with swords.
Yes, it CAN be a non-metal sword (i.e. Darth Vader's apprentice from TFU)
They have to be KNOWN for wielding a sword-type thing.
For example, Master Chief with an energy sword does not count.

Wow, hooray for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. That allows me to use Deadpool. But in all honesty, who doesn't love the Merc With A Mouth.

My Mount & Blade character or my Morrowind character. I'd say my Oblivion character as well, but he doesn't swing a sword, preferring instead to keep some touch magic around for any enemy that closes the distance after the original bow hit.

1) Cless / Cress from Tales of Phantasia.
2) Link. period.
3) Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia.

I can not really say I liked Yuri's swordsmanship. the fact that he lets go of his sword seems like too good an chance to get it knocked away.

Strangely enough my vote does not go to Nero from Devil May Cry, but to the dude from No More Heroes, whatever the heck his name was. It was an obvious ripoff of a lightsaber, but the guy was awesome.
