I have to go with Vergil from DMC3. I mean, Dante and Nero were pretty cool too, but they used guns while Vergil was a frickin sword summoner.
Or Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden, cause that guy uses a sword, and can pick up any other weapon and be totally adept at it, so he's badass too.
Conan can pretty much use any weapon, but he IS very well known for using a sword.cleverlymadeup said:

It's between Raziel and Kain (Legacy of Kain) for me. Both guys are excellent fighters and their blades destroy souls.
Edit: made up my mind. Kain wins in the long run by having an awesome voice actor (though I have much love and respect for Michael Bell).

If were basing it only off of how awesome the blade('s) are, then Dante, with his Multitude of awesome Swords. Link, because he is a repeating Hero, and, of course, the greatest Insane mofo ever, Gray Fox (In MGS: Twin Snakes, because that has awesome cutscenes, which show how badass he is).
