Was gonna say the same thing. Nothing better than listening to a little "Sympathy of the Devil" after blasting away roughly 10% of the comined world wide communist forces.
There is no way in hell I will choose between the two, for they are both not only my favorite games of all time, but the soundtrack that they both carry is both uplifting and incredibly catchy to boot. I could never choose one, so here is both of them.
Okay, I actually thought about this question. So, because i'm kinda torn. I have a choice, and 3 honorable mentions...
My choice:
Maybe not the greatest game in the universe, but I think the credits music deserves to be here for one reason, a very important one. It works -very- well as credits music. I can't really put it anywhere else. It fits an ending, and the slow pace of credits generally. >.> So there.
HM1:
Really, how many of you listened to the credits music of Civ 4? It's a good song.
HM2:
...Because we have Timesplitters on this list. I give you what came first!
Someone already got Doom 3. The same track plays at the title screen, but the theme has so much more impact and is pure epic the way it's used over the closing cutscene and credits:
Also, one of my favorites is the credits theme from Deus Ex. It's the perfect closing for the game and rivals the title theme in my opinion:
Those are the one's I can think of, I'll probably think of something else later, of course.
