well I think the point that Bob was making about the vita is that one dosen't come with the system and the new format is F***** expensive even with the exchange rate, I want 32 gigs on my vita.
Hey people don't knock the remakes I love star fox 3D, by that logic metal gear solid and shadow of colossus shouldn't not get an HD upgrade.

Okay, look. The literal definition of feminist might not be negative, but the connotation has been ever since women earned civil rights. Before, it meant someone who thought women should be treated as equals to men. Since that's the norm for everybody today, there's no need to use the word feminist as it once was. Its just assumed.(we now label the woman-hating minority, misogynists, instead.) Now the word feminist is used to describe someone who want women to be treated better than men.

I still don't understand how or why a My Little Ponies series became this internet phenomenon seemingly overnight. Or over any length of time.

Since I won't watch the show, I probably never will, either. It just seems bizarre to me.
I think you've hit the nail straight on the head there. You really won't get the show unless you've watched it. Even if you don't be come a 'brony' you will understand the whole concept it's based upon.

Four example I read all four twilight books pretty much back to back. I thought the first three were average and the four one sucked. I managed to watch part of the first film and gave up because I thought it was that bad.

So......... i suggest you just try and watch a few minutes of MLP just to see what it's about. One 22 minute episode is more than enough to get the gist of the show. At least that way you'll know what everyone's talking about.

And remember people won't hate you for not liking the show after watching and episode.
(despite how militant the fan base comes across)

The evidence given? What evidence, the assumption you made that I used google? Or the that I used wiki? Great evidence.
The ease with which one could find this information, which is REALLY well documented due to the nerdrage around it.

Neither of the above were assumptions entered. They are, however, evidence of how easily the information could be found.

But honestly, are you really defending the fact that your research skills are legitimately so poor you could not find and affirmatively stated the opposite of information demonstrably found within fifteen seconds?

You can't be serious. That breaks suspension of disbelief.

You, sir, suck.

No, really, the connotation of feminist has been negative since women earned civil rights? Because the day suffragists got away with it anybody pushing for female rights immediately became a stuck up *****?

May I redirect you to an old Moviebob point? "Politicially incorrect" doesn't mean "license to be an asshole". Women aren't treated the same way men are in many, many areas of life to this day, and no feminist I know, myself included, has ever claimed to want women to be treated better than men, ever. That's the kind of shit they have to take for maybe pointing out that they feel uncomfortable about sexist jokes in the workplace or that they misogynistic jokes in Duke Nukem were not funny.

I hate when people misusing a word to enforce discrimination claim that they now own it. It's happened to feminist, socialist, atheist, liberal and a bunch of others, especially in America. It's not cool, no matter how widespread it becomes.

The day women got equal with men, any woman who continued pushing exclusively for women's rights became a stuck up *****

and no feminist I know, myself included, has ever claimed to want women to be treated better than men, ever
Well no shit they're not going to straight come out and say it. And I'd put you, an "equalist" or something, in a different category anyway.

Here's a suggestion if you don't want to watch MLP: It's exactly the same as Powerpuff Girls, but with movie and internet culture references.

Oh, and the most overrated stuff ever made too.

This is the bottom line

I looked something up. You don't believe it

You are wrong and assume that ease of looking it up is evidence,

You are wrong.

Also, that nerdrage actually made it MORE difficult to look up in my experience, since I, myself, am not a Star Wars fan, and thus have no connection to its fan base.

Since I had long conceded the point, admitting that I was wrong. We are now solely in the territory of your own fault. When you make baseless assumptions, there is a high probability that you will be wrong wrong.

You have NO valid evidence for a statement such as "I doubt you looked it up"

Very awesome Bob, but uh...it was kinda hard to tell where one point/train stopped and another started for some of your topics. It took me...awhile to figure out what Batman had to do with My Little Pony before I realized they were separate points. (Maybe I'm just that slow. Or the combination of those two would be.....awesomely terrible XD)

Comparing the Powerpuff Girls to My little pony hummmmmmmmmm......

I've got to admit that is a bit of a lazy statement; and that does assume that you watched the power puff girls as well.

However it has to be said the fan bases do crossover.
Still there are many many differences and it's like saying apples and oranges are the same because they're both fruit.

But I get your point. If you like one then you'll like the other.

Just remember it's important to try new things.

True. MovieBob has it wrong, but it could be intentional, as an ironic attack to people always pronouncing any word in any language with English sounds. Who knows.

Also, proprietary memory cards... that seems a bad decision to me.
However, if you want to run games from those, it's possible that standard SD cards might be a bit slow. They've improved a lot over time, but it still takes a while to just save a photo to the SD card of a digital camera, and when you're loading a game you might be loading a lot of megabytes. So maybe they've tried to make them faster, but they had to compromise on storage space.

Small footnote to Bob: It is the 12th year of the 21st century. It is 2011. The first year of the 21st century is the year 2000. Thus the second year is 2001 the third 2002.... the 11th is 2010 and the 12th year of the 21st century is 2011.
If you do not buy into this logic it would not be the 21st century either but the 20th by your logic except it is not this either because you said otherwise. Your statement is incoherent and thus per default wrong. Learn to count properly. It is the same reason why the duration of a decade is 10 years and thus the decade of the 2000s was over at the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 because the decade started at 2000 and not 2001. Why do I mention it? Because a lot of people are doing it wrong because they hear people like Bob say stuff like 2011 being the 11th year of the century and not knowing it any better or having enough brain themselves to figure it out how wrong this statement is.
I respect Moviebob even if I do not agree with him all the time and found flaws in his argumentation many times but they were always on a level of relative high cognitive skill required to reach the point to make such mistakes. This however is the mistake of a ten year old.

So on to the actual topics. Feminism is one of those words who end on "-ism" like communism or or capitalism or militarism or .... all those words describe by themself positions that are extremes which have no threshhold for tolerance of other viewpoints. But more often than not when you say "femenism movement" you mean the equal rights movement for women. Has it ever occured to you Bob that if someone else says "femenist" he uses it as an aggressive term to point out someones extreme stance on any given subject concerning women? Well maybe it has. But then you decided that femenism is a good ideological standpoint which not only has benefitted women but will continue to do so. Which in all honesty I cannot see happening. You see femenism is all about making men and women the same. Not biological of course but social and cultural. Unless you preach uniformity is the way to go or oyu have to step back a step and acknowledge feminism not being the ideal solution for the problems concerning women of modern society.

You know, when he brought up MLP, I was briefly nervous about what he was going to say about it. Then, when his point actually had nothing to do with it, I was a little disappointed. I wonder how movie bob feels about ponies.

I will say this, if a child is unaware of Homosexuality then the parents are bad parents. Also it's Bioware they do that A LOT.

SCII, and SCIII were great games, IV was meh. The games are good and All of the characters with the exception of Nightmare, Volvo, and Astaroth are all over sexualized. Twilight I bad their is not a single second or word that is at all good.

The already remade Strawberry shortcake, and my good it's horrid. if FiM adds tidbits for Older audiences.

I wish we knew where Bob stood on the Magic of Friendship.

Does this mean we can only bash on Twilight for butchering the mythology of two of the most iconic monsters in fiction?
