Most European contries really aren't that patriotic unless they come up against their particular rival... or are playing football.
isn't James bond infact a Canadian created character who happens to be British because the whole idea of him came from a recruit from camp X a candian spy camp during ww2 near lake ontario?Grouchy Imp said:First off, it took us ages to get rid of that simple minded, simpering man-child Galaxy so kindly bought off of us, so no, we're not taking him back. And secondly, I'd say that Britain does have 'superheroes', except they don't wear Spandex and have radioactive powers. Bob, I'll see you an Ironman and a Captain America and raise you a James Bond and a Sherlock Holmes!

He was called superman.
We should make Carmine our hero. Seriously in a combat situation he still thinks the golden rule is "treat others as you would treat yourself"
which is being polite. Which is one of the stereotypical things we are known for. He also has the most personality (sorry other countries).
Exactly, things like that. Like I tried to say earlier, the thing is that "americans" fail to see things like that.Eric Huntinton said:Its sorta funny the Americans think its the people the annoy everyone else but it's not its the subtle things like if you watch any american tv show or movie for instance if someone wants to take over the world where do they go? well the white house of course because you know that's where king tut shit ruler of everything is supposedly, its the little things like that gets old.
No, I'm pretty sure Ian Fleming stated quite categorically that Bond was British. And even if I'm wrong, St George was supposedly a Roman soldier and that didn't stop him becoming the patron saint of England.Eric Huntinton said:isn't James bond infact a Canadian created character who happens to be British because the whole idea of him came from a recruit from camp X a candian spy camp during ww2 near lake ontario?Grouchy Imp said:First off, it took us ages to get rid of that simple minded, simpering man-child Galaxy so kindly bought off of us, so no, we're not taking him back. Ah, right. Again though, I'm pretty sure Ian Fleming was also British - certainly born in London anyway, although I don't know his parents' nationalities.Eric Huntinton said:na man you miss understand I'm saying Ian Fleming was Canadian Bond was British what I'm getting at is he's a Canadian made character
