Civilization, my god, I played one , ONE game on the xbox version. And it took 3 hours to beat. Sure it was fun, but damn did it take up a whole afternoon.

MW2. Fallout 3 had me sink 400+ hours in over three characters, but then MW2 came out...

I play CoD exclusively with a team of 3-6, and its great fun playing with competent teammates that communicate and just geerally make the game more enjoyable to play.

I put in just over 18 days in MW2, and reached Prestige 7. I'm already at Prestige 5 in Black Ops.

Never though I'd play an online matchmaking game more than F3...

Of course F3 still holds the title for longest gaming session, clocking it at just over 10 hours straight with minor breaks for the bathroom and fluids to keep me alive.

When I first saw the name of the thread I was going to say Dio Brando.
I was gonna make a Magus reference. "Time", "Vampire", get it? :p

As for me, it's probably Minecraft, for simply being a game I choose to play "for a few minutes" and end up sitting with for hours. Also, Rogue Galaxy for being the game that I've spent the most time on without finishing it.

Tales of Symphonia... kind of marathon-ed it nearly twice through in one sitting...

....I may or may not know that game well enough to beat it in my sleep.

...yet I still don't get the whole... tension system for the over limits and I haven't ever gotten a 100% complete file.

...oh yes, I think the fastest I've beaten it was 30 hours... average playthrough for me takes 50... somehow wasn't bored by the second time I hit Latheon Gorge...

...I want to go play that now... get a 100% file... 8 playthroughs minimum required for the stupid chef titles...

....Also, I can't seem to take Minecraft in large doses. At most, an hour and a half at a time, though my friends all boast 15 hour marathons of building cities.

Difficult platformers are timesinks for me as well. Super Meat Boy, just got it today, and whoo, that is addictive.

diablo, oblivion, boarderlands, or dragon age.

diablo II because of how long it has been out. i have at least 1500 hours on it, but thats over the decade or more it has been out

oblivion, i think i have 1000 hrs on it alltogether, over about 5 files, and i got it when it released

36 days of gameplay on just my hunter in boarderlands.

iv done more than a few allnighters for dragon age, more than the other games listed

Pretty much any Pokemon game is guaranteed to suck up plenty of my time. And its always a surreal experience when you want to start a new game, but you know that several days of work are going down the drain.
Every time I start to delete it and the game asks me, "Are you sure?," a little voice in my head says, "no..."

Definitely Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES. Not only did the main adventure take me over 100 hours, but then there's the Answer, a segment that takes place after the game.

That segment could've been an entirely new sequel if Atlus wanted to, since it was basically another 40-50 hour adventure.

Ahhhhh, good times :D

Any Pokemon game. Seriously, I can start playing one with the intent of only playing for an hour, and then I'll look up a little later and 5-6 hours will have gone by.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the expansions.... well over several hundred hours on both the PS3 and PC versions. When I saw the Skyrim trailer, I knew that there would be a couple hundred more hours of my life that I would never have again in the next year or so.

I always forgot to sleep after I got Elder Scrolls.

The sun would just rise without me noticing almost 5 nights a week.
