I was just going to say the same, but with the new DmC coming out it makes 2 look better. Still not good, but better.saintsiner said:Devil May Cry 2. It was most disappointing

I cannot understand the hatred of this game, just because Raiden is the main character in the game and he's got emotions, and he's not Solid Snake, we should be pissed about it?
It's as integral a game as the original Metal Gear Solid, and it makes Metal Gear Solid 4 better for it, I think.
The plot does feel disheveled, but so what? It's still fun to play, and if nothing else, when you replay it a few more times, you can decipher the story, and it's actually relavent to today's world, if nothing else.
Are you serious? SS was probably the best for multiplayer around. Now, I do have to say that I much prefered the Dawn of War and Winter Assault Campaigns and Dark Crusade had a nice idea that Soulstorm affected a bit too much, but it revived the multiplayer. That said, Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle aren't that crash hot.Dark Prophet said:Dawn of War Soulstorm, I don't understand how they managed to fuck it up, come on there are dark eldar and sisters of battle there, sisters of fucking battle.
First of all how could Soulstorm affect Dark Crusade, it came after Dark Crusade? Or did I get something wrong? Also campaign is pretty much the only thing I care about, because against AI it's pointless as AI cheats like hell, I know I know AI usually does cheat in RTS games to get some edge and to provide chalange, but it was so noticable in Dark Crusade and Soulstorm that I just didn't want to play it anymore as for the multiplayer, the community was small and it was hard as hell to find a game, and humans also cheated, several times I played against human players beeing super strong or them having top tear units in the matter of seconds, once I had a fully restored monolith in my base within one minute, so yeah. As for the Soulstorm campaign, it was fucking weak, and the sisters of battle, if you don't find them to be hot then I think you should pick up a new hobby, like collecting stamps =) (notice the smiley face)Everin said:Are you serious? OT: Halo 3: ODST, BioShock 2, Pokemon: Black and White Versions, Assasin's Creed 2. The list of disappointments for me grows on as I keep thinking about it, some games don't even need sequels, they should remain the single game
Edit: Also Age of Empires III. What they had with Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, Age of Conquerors Expansion was so good. Then they must have thought 'oh, how can we ruin a series?'
Sorry, what I meant to say was that the Soulstorm campaign didn't really bring anything new to the table, it was kind of just a larger version of the DC campaign, some miswording on my part there. And cheating can ruin all games, can't it? Soulstorm can't cop all the crap for having cheaters...Dark Prophet said:First of all how could Soulstorm affect Dark Crusade, it came after Dark Crusade? What I love about Dawn of War II is a little conversation that takes place between some of the Blood Ravens about the Soulstorm campaign. I believe it was the Scout Sergeant Cyrus who said "Kaurava was a mistake. I will not speak of it again." It's like watching the devs shyly muttering "sowwy".Everin said:Sorry, what I meant to say was that the Soulstorm campaign didn't really bring anything new to the table, it was kind of just a larger version of the DC campaign, some miswording on my part there.
