Ignoring her hand, Septimus answers, "Septimus. Apparently my parents were cocks before everything went tits up."

Flirtatious!? Septimus thought, Man, this ***** is crazy. Thinking of sex at a time like this!?

Septimus decided to say nothing until they reached camp. He hurt a lot and was decidely freaked out by Bridget.

"Bridget...you gonna make your choice when you get back?"

Bridget pondered Septimus and ran up to beside Dan.
"Dan, what I did back there...it wasn't because I want to have something with him, I mean Septimus, and I need some time" she said casually, grabbing Dan's hand.

"That's fine. I'm just...nervouse...i'm kind of scared what will happen if you pick someone else. I want you to be happy but..."
I hope she chooses soon.
"Just...don't take too long ok?"

Bridget giggled and blushed.
He's just acting nervous right?
"you really want me bad don't you?" she asked, still with a casual tone. She had been looking at him but now looked at the hideout and the surronding area, watching for any movement.

As they entered the base, he took them to the roof.

When Bridget entered the building, she spared a glance around the room to see if she had left any mess around. Seeing she didn't she followed septimus and Dan up to the roof, seeing Jaden still near the door.
At least we're safe...ish
She sat down where she and Wolfe and sat, and waited for the conversation to pick up.

"So...Bridget, now we're not doing anything...Can you tell me about your past?" He asked, trying to srike up a conversation.
Ngh...

Bridget looked over to Dan.
"Sure-ummm...I was born here, and my dad fought in the war. He taught me how to fight among other things, and then when they died my brother left telling me to stay safe and he hasn't come back." Bridget explained. Having said it twice before, she no longer had so much emotion in her voice when she mentioned the part with her brother.
He'll come back
"What about you?"

As they walked, Septimus made some idle speculations.
There's definitely something going on between them two. BUt it seems that things aren't going too well. It's going to be like travelling with my parents all over again; constant arguments and the most horrific tension imaginable. Definitely not something we need when we face death around every corner.

As they approached a tall building, Septimus felt more at ease. Well atleast this place looks safe. Safer than my last refuge anyway.

As they climbed the stairs, Septimus inspected the impressive defences and began to relax a little. He stood in the doorway, of their base camp and peered at Bridget. I guess she's kinda hot, He conceded.

Not knowing what to do, Septimus merely waited to be offered supplies. Definitely tension in here, don't want to cause any problems...

I need to find out.
"That's a sad story..."

"I'm okay with it now" she said, shrugging before looking to Septimus.
"So what's your story"
Is Dan suspicous of me and this new guy? I don't have feelings...do I? He's cute...and near my age

"Bridget, do you like this guy? Just be honest. You can't hide anything anymore...." He said flatly.

Bridget whipped her head towards Dan.
"What is your problem? I can't be attracted to other people" she said snarkily.

Limping foward, Septimus makes an ambivalent gesture. "No story. Look, I could really do with patching up..." he croals gesturing to the gash in his side and the countless burns across his limbs.
"Some food wouldn't go amiss either...I used my last can of beans as a weapon."
A few steps from Bridget and Dan, Septimus stumbles to his knees and starts coughing. Blood splashes the floor. "ugh...seem to...have lost...too mu--" Face hitting the floor, Septimus passes out.

Bridget looked over at the unconsicous Septimus.
Is he sleeping? He's bleeding a lot
She jogged over and took her shirt off, tieing it around his side for the wound.

"Let's take him to your bed."
He lay Septimus down on Bridget's bed and turned to her,
