To all those who mention fighting game bosses,I give you Mildred Avalon from Arcana Heart.

Take the Arcana Blaze attacks (similar to supers in Street Fighter) from every character and give it to her and make them cost nothing to use. Then give her a followup attack even more powerful that can only be blocked if you are already blocking.

That my friends, is cheap

scourgelord tyrannus on heroic mode. It just so happens that everyone but me was ranged, and so i could never really get punted past an ice patch, i had to go through them so he'd walk into them, where he would promply pummel me to tiny bits. Finally I got lucky one day and had an all melee group, he was piss poor easy after that.

but he taunted me, just milimeters away from the bloody patch.

Any Boss In mirror's Edge. Really guys, what were you thinking?
End Boss of Borderlands. I was disappoint.
Anything dealing with aliens in Crysis (I didn't see this one anywhere). Why do game developers have to ruin good games. The first half of the game was good. But those aliens eat all my bullets.

I would say Silver from Sonic Next Gen was pretty cheap. If you got too close(without timing things correctly) he could lift you up in the air(losing all your rings in the process) and when he dropped you he could immediately pick you up again and throw you again which would kill you.

Doviculus' army in Brutal Legend on Brutal Difficulty. THAT was the mission that made me back down a difficulty.

The Spider ninja clan leader in the second chapter of ninja gaiden 2, even on the easy diffcult i got lucky on random block breaks even when he does his billionth unblockable lightning non blockable combo in a row followed by a magic shied that blocks all my nimpo attacks even when i developed a internal bleeding in my head afterwards, cant wait to fight him on ninja master mode, lol

Duh. Maybe it isn`t so hard, but annoying as hell. God of War: Chains of Olympus. Fighting the winged lady and the titan. See, when you are actually getting in the fight, the lady shouts: "Atlas!", then pops a quick-time event and if you fail... well you get squashed by a monstrous hand.

I have to agree with cj_iwakura and the Demi-Fiend from SMT: Digital Devil Saga, since the tactics you use to walk through the game result in Gaea Wrath and instant death and most of the tactics for defeating him involve having every character maxed, being lucky and "keep trying." It also doesn't help that one of his starting "summons" spams a group instant death spell. Though, I heard one strategy involving the use of debuffs to drain the summons' MP that might be worth a try...

Other than him, though, one of the last bosses in Riku's path of Chain of Memories (I forget which one exactly) was a major pain, largely because you couldn't heal and have no control over your deck in Riku's path.

the Devil from GH3 on expert. The most pointless addition to a rhythm action game.

I know of the horrors the OP speaks of in that goddamned Tyrant fight.

Limited space, controls as fine tuned as a broken piano and your only real option to killing him is to save every piece of gunpowder Bowgun ammo, and I mean every piece.

You get trapped in that corner with the bugger and you may aswell reset the game.

Most bosses in The Force Unleashed.

If you don't agree, try fighting Fallen Luke on Sith Master difficulty.
