What in my opinion, rather cheap was.....Salazar from RE4 the first time I played him. Must have lost about 25 times. Then I bought the Broken Butterfly and enjoyed every second of that Napoleon-wannabe midget melting to nothingness.
Slazar was actually really easy. I bought the mine launcher right outside his room, see? You can get two mines on him every time he exposes his weak point. Do this four times and BOOM he dies.
There's actually an easier way... Use the Handgun to get him to expose himself ( dear god that sounds bad) the quickly run around and use a rocket launcher. Provided you have one. Otherwise, yes, the magnum is probably the way to go.

Oh, another one from the same game. Krauser. The first time I fought him, I died so many times, it was insane. I had to use a rocket launcher on him, which sucked because I needed it later. Then. Then I learned that the knife, the puniest, weakest weapon, the weapon I NEVER USE, the knife is his ONLY WEAK POINT. Seriously. 2 magnum shots and 4 knife slashes and he was down with a minute to spare. I was so pissed... Because I realized I could have saved my magnum ammo! I wasted it on him! Stupid, fucking... And to top it off, he's not actually dead. You fight him again as Ada in the Seperate Ways thing to unlock the Chicago Typewrighter, and you use the SAME FUCKING STRATEGY. Honestly.

Insta-dodges every attack you make, before making a super-fast undodgeable combo you can't escape from. There is an abusable AI glitch that makes things slightly easier, in that if you hammer shoot while walking towards him and buster him pointblank, you get more hits than misses, it was one of the fights I dreaded on the higher difficulties.

Seth from Street Fighter IV-Made me cry on easy. He can't be hit.
Knuckles from Sonic Battle-The game adjusts to your skill. I had to play as the custom fighter and had no good moves.
Bouldergeist from Super mario Galaxy (Daredevil challenge)-Ooooooh fu-

I'd say for plain aggravation Typhon from Titan Quest. He has a cast-iron health bar and rather then giving him some boring oneshot hit they decided it'd be funnier to give him nothing but oneshot hits, some of which with a nice AoE added. Only one of the abilities had a small delay, meaning you had to wait for him to cast that specific ability or you'd be running right into certain death. Now to reinforce the above-mentioned cast-iron health bar they then decided a life leech would be nice. Generously enough the leech doesn't oneshot you if you take a potion, but it makes his health bar drop even slower.

And to add the icing to the cake, if you die anywhere in the barrage of oneshot-moves that is the fight, you are put at the 'nearest' graveyard, forcing you to run a half a bloody marathon before starting the whole damn thing all over again.

A close second goes to the Manticore from Titan Quest aswell. This beasty has a relatively easy to dodge breath attack, but since easily dodgeable abilities are for sissies, he was given the ability to oneshot someone with an attack looking almost identical to his standard melee, making it borderline impossible to see it coming. And much like Typhon, if you died you had to run for five minutes straight to get your ass handed to you again.

The bosses in Prototype are like this. Elizabeth Greene and the end boss. If you try to get close enough to use your critical mass devestators, they basically shoot you out of the air, meaning you lose critical mass. I had to spend most of the Elizabeth Greene fight hiding behind billboards eating Hunters. Even artillery strikes do nothing against her.

The Sloth Demon in Dragon Age: Origins is also pretty cheap, because his final form will lock your whole party down with Blizzard. I'm still convinced it was only through luck that I beat him when I did.
The sloth demon is ridiculously easy... you know you can still use your special abilities in that fight, right?
Yes, but I had the wrong party, and no poultices left. I really regretted killing Wynne. Damn you, Morrigan, and your disapproval!

Probably not the cheapest, but off my head - The agent you have to kick out a plane in "Enter the Marix"
Woah that was one of the first things I thought of when I clicked on this thread.

Everyone finds it so hard to kill her. Ok heres the thing:

First, you climb to the top of the really high tower that she is close to, then wait until hunters come up and consume them (note: she cannot attack you up there) then use the air ground spike critical devastator, it does lots of damage, then climb up the tower and do it all again until she is swiss cheese.

Not a boss but still ridiculous. Any wave in Halo ODST with the cloaked jetpack brutes, on the harder difficulties they prove to be aggravating. They can melee without breaking cloak. They can shoot without breaking cloak and the damn AI is smart enough to wait until they are real close. If they have any gun but the one handed shotgun (glows alittle) you can barely see them at all, and if they have the shotgun you better kill them from a distance.

Sephiroth in KH1/2. No explanation needed.
K/H 1 i can understand. K/H 2? ehh... it wasn't that bad until he got to final form. He killed me about 17 bajillion times. mind you, this was before his laser attack that if you suck at quicktime events will instantly kill you.

on the flip side... Ever tried fighting Archimonde for 15 minutes? Yeah, he kills everyone in the raid at 15 minutes.

i'd have to agree with everyone saying Seth from SF4 or Jinpachi from Tekken, but i'd also have to add the last boss in Guilty Gear Isuka, i don't even remember its name (kinda easy to forget when the game was so bad anyway.) some weird, dog, robot bear thing, i dunno. between my friend and i on easy it took us like 2 hours to finally beat it by relentlessly drop kicking it with Chipp Zanuff...

the teleporting guy in shinobi.

he telaports away from you if you get more than 2 hits on him or defeat his dogs,
then he heals to full health before you can get to his now spot.
i mean hes got infinite minions (5 per telaport), heals in less time than it takes to get to him, and can get on the other side of the airea fast.

i never beet him, and now i dont want to.

Any mortal kombat game.
As they think they are stealing quarters for you, almost all bosses had to be fought 20 times before the cpu would give you even a chance.

Metal sonic from the sonic fighting game, Seth from Street fighter 4, or, Choas, level 110, from Final Fantasy: dissdia. It's kinda funny, because now I can beat him with hardly trying. Now chaos level 130 from the black jack course... That's a challenge.

i would have to say any boss in kingdom of hearts because all of them have so much health its unfair. Also it takes a good 20-40 minutes to mash your way through a boss.
