Don't punch her! Because punching her means she can COUNTERATTACK! But there's some inexplicable times midfight where you CAN punch her which you know because...well I don't know. And also don't try to duck her kicks because that doesn't even make sense. And don't do flying kicks that force your entire body weight towards her chest because she'll BLOCK THEM.

Gee, this PARKOUR GAME sure is great, isn't it?
Oh my god NINJA'D!

That game shot itself in the foot with its combat.

Any boss from either Ninja Gaiden 1 or 2 pretty much. In 2 at the end of the game I had to fight Genshin, Elizebet, Dagra Dai AND the Archfiend without a savepoint or a shop in between any of the fights plus Genshin and Elizebet are a back to back fight then Dagra Dai and the Archfiend are a back to back fight. The Archfiend has like 3 stages throughout the fight with him. Plus, in between the two pairs of back to back fights there's enemies. That game is so evil to me. This wasn't even on the hardest difficulty either.

kinda the cheepest boss. Phantasy star episode 1 and 2, on episode 2 the final form of the last boss on ultimate was fun to fight but annoying and cheap. he would turn you old and if you attacked him it would hurt you for full dmg. >.<

I'm almost certain I've fought someone cheaper, but Giga Gaia from Chrono Trigger was pretty cheap with that combo he does at the very beginning and his attack/healing hands.

Devil May Cry 3, Heaven or Hell mode - Every boss in the damn game.
HAHAHAHAHA Tried beating vergil or any of the bosses on Dante must die mode? THOSE ARE BULLSHIT!
Yeah, I have, because Heaven or Hell mode is harder than Dante Must Die mode. You have to beat Dante Must Die mode before you unlock Heaven or Hell mode.

...did someone not complete DMD mode?

It isn't a boss as such, more of a scenario.

One of the Resi's, Resident evil 3 i think. You're in a hospital with filled with hunter creatures, and all you have is a knife. And they decapitate you in one hit, and they're slightly faster than you.

When you fight him on the cliff side. For one, instant kill on summons. For two, the whole zombie and full cure or life thing. Whatever that bullshit was. Took forever to kill him.

The end boss from Neverwinter Nights 2. If I have to halt an epic battle to go and look up a "How to Kill" faq on the net, then we've got a problem.
I was just about to say that. If a boss has a "Random chance to one hit kill" spell active throughout the fight then it isn't fun.

Justice from Guilty Gear. His super did enough chip damage hits to refill his bar.

Terra from Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix +. His health is 3 times the size of Sephiroth's and he is almost impossible to beat.

No More Heroes, boss called 'Bad Girl'

Aside from having the game's fairly standard setup that you can only use counter-attacks to even harm her, she has a fairly standard 'one hit kill' move. The particular problem with her is that this move's setup is simply her kneeling and crying, with the trigger being getting too close to her and is otherwise unavoidable and impossible to tell what it is the first time, making it a beginner's trap. Being too close to her when she kneels is enough to set it off, so the entire fight is spent at the very outside of her and your range, trying to get occassional hits in, while running away every time she so much as twitches to avoid this move.

I'd say anyone in Dynasty Warriors. They're easy as fuck, but they always have five times your Life. I say it's cheap because I think Koei should focus fix up the A.I instead of making them only stronger.

Beating them doesn't feel awesome either. I'm never given the feeling - 'Wow, I had an epic fight with Lu Bu' but more of the 'For fuck sakes, these guys are so god damn easy to kill but they take forever.'
This. Anytime I actually felt accomplished from beating a boss was when I was an incredibly low level character, or I beat them in a duel. In Dynasty Warriors 4 I got my character so strong that even Lu Bu didn't do anything to him, unless I was dueling him. God, those duels were impossible.

For mine I would have to say Drake from 007: Nightfire. It's the final boss battle, in space (which is cool, but incredibly annoying). First you have to go around shutting down missile things from launching and blowing up the Earth. You also have to do this while floating around, and while getting shot at by guys with laser cannons. Then after you finally do all of that. Drake comes out, and uses his laser cannon which is about 15x stronger then all the other ones. He's also got deadly accuracy on the hardest difficulty. There have been times that he's killed me as soon as he spawned. Oh, and then you have to start the whole level over again.

Cheapest as in pointless or cheapest as in stupidly unfair and annoying?
I think any of the two would do.

OP: Cheapest boss? Hmmm, Ninja Gaiden's bosses are notorious for that.

The Demi-Fiend from Digital Devil Saga.

Take in a skill immunity? He kills you instantly.

Let his demons live for too long? They full heal him.

After two demons leave? He does Gaea Rage, and if you don't fall asleep before it, it kills you.

He's the epitome of cheap.

No boss will ever be as cheap, frustrating, and annoying as DoA4's boss.
Couldn't agree more.
She has about 7 moves, all are either counter grabs, or 5+ hit combos.
The floor is electrified, and she spends most of her time throwing you onto it doing extra damage.
All of her combos can flow into each other, meaning she can counter grab you, and hit you in the region of 15 times before you can do anything back, by this time you have about 1/10th of your original health.

So, fucking, bullshit.

Last boss in Shadow Of collosus

Now, first, let us take away your horse, the only speedy thing you own.
Now, we take that one 1000 foot tall collosus you fought, and we stacked him on another 14 of them.
Now, we're going to give it LAZERS!
Now, go climb up that 300,000 foot Collosus, and stab that incredibly tiny spot on his head.

Oh, how do you climb him? Ehh, he has a ledge or two every twenty feet up, some hair you can climb, just be careful not to fall down!
