The class you will Play in Dragon age 2

So I'm new to the dragon age thing. What class will you guys be playing? I played and thought the mage was awesome. Warrior was a little bland but the rogue was a straight up DPS (how unusual). What class do you personally prefer to play? I did play WoW and GW for a while so I have an idea on how classes work and how there is no best. Also, How many branches are there?

I want to play a mage, but then I get a whiny templar brother instead of a hot sister, so I'm still on the fence.
If I don't go mage, I'll go rogue. I never really liked tanking, to be honest.

Rogue first, then mage. Loving the new ninja moves. Thankfully I won't get nearly as indecisive this time, I replayed the first hour or two so many times with different race/class/alignment combos I almost completely lost interest

My mage became pretty unstoppable. The two High Dragon fights lost most of their challenge. With the right build, the Arcane Warrior can take down anything.

I'm rolling mage; demo gave me the impression it's fairly full of face melting action. It's tempting to roll a warrior since I tend to find a melee character more rewarding, but at the end of the day I'm attracted to the class that causes the biggest and shiniest explosions.

I always start two or three playthroughs at the same time, and then choose which one goes first depending on which playstyle I liked best. If it's anything like the first one I'll probably be a mage first.

I'm going to use rogue, just because it was way more fun than warrior in the demo. The warrior was kind of bland compared to the teleporting ninja.

Your right unfortunately. My city elf rogue will be very lonely

I always go for the mage, because magic is awesome. Though I'm considering rogue just to spice things up.
