Argura began to tense up night fell. He could hear the Accidents coming closer. Tightening his grip on his MK23, he waits for the beating of the Accidents hearts to get closer. Reaching into his survival kit he pulled out the small surgical knife and scissors and pocketed them. If things got ugly, stabbing at them might be the best thing. Turning to Jarvis, he motions for him to move closer. whispering in his ear,"How many times have you fought the Accidents?"

I hope this follows the storyline for DragonRabbit and I. There isn't much for us to do but wait and talk for now. I don't mind it, but we are essentially waiting on Xegewrath to control the accidents/day and night. And one question, I know our special items for our characters aren't supposed to be weapons but a survival kit would have those things in it so should I take that part out?

Argura & Jarvis
Both men had shifted as far as they could into the darkness of the outcrop. As they chatted and reassured each other, darkness fell over the Wasteland, reducing temperatures to near zero degrees celsius.

Jarvis had patched up Argura to a point where he was well enough to stand up and walk, but not run. As they waited for the unavoidable onslaught of Accidents, Argura started rechecking his weapons to ensure they were ready for battle.

A blood curdling scream rang throughout The Wasteland. Probably another person far away falling prey to one of those creatures. The land had surprisingly good acoustics.

Argura peered out the side of the rocks and saw a group of seven Accidents searching around for prey. He leaned back and pressed into the rocks, praying and praying they wouldn't be detected.

// You decide your course of action now. Attack them first or continue praying they pass by?

Asks > Xege > "What will you fight for?"

Jimmy's interst was soaring now.
Jimmy> Comes out from behind wall> Pretends to walk past and overhear.
"Oh you're thinking of making a faction? Could I join? I've had military experience and my old guns are still at home. Whaddaya say?"

Xege turns around to face the newcomer, startled.

"Woah there, who are YOU?"

It then dawns on Xege he didn't know who he was talking to before that either.

Turns to Max > Says > "Yeah, and who are you too?"

Those are sadistically errie acoustics. I think I'll wait a little while longer on Dragonrabbit now before I do anything.

Looks at Argura > Jarvis holds an index finger to his mouth, silently demanding silence > Begins to pray silently

Well i'm just a guy from the communal district. I used to be in the military but... That's a long story. Anyway I just want to go somewhere I can fight.

Taking that as a no, Agura>leans up against the rock>and thinks to himself"There are no atheists in Fox holes">He begins to pray that they will pass too.

 

[Xegewrath]

Xege raises an eyebrow, replies > "Just a guy? Well, hello, Just a guy. My name is Dylan, but I go by the moniker Xege. Catchy, eh? Also, EVERYONE is from the Communal District, dude. Unless you're from Avalon or one of the factions, you pretty much got to live there."

Suspiciously asks > "You bloodthirsty or something? Why the need to fight?"

Jimmy> Replies> Xege"Sorry I was distracted. I'm Jimmy and yeah I guess everyone is from the communal district. Unless your in the barracks. Which I was and then...yeah. But, well life is getting prety boring and the best thing I do is fight.

Xege grins > Replies to both Max & Jimmy > "Well, if you guys are interested, we could try to startup a group of our own. But I don't want us to follow the twisted ideals of the other Factions.."

Xege shudders.

Continues > "If we are going to start anything we're going to need some capital. Anyone up for exploring the wastes?"

Argura & Jarvis
Argura and Jarvis pressed themselves against the rocky outcrop, feverishly praying and praying, in hope that the group of Accidents would simply pass by them. However, things were never so simple.

As the group of Accidents passed by, they began furiously squabbling with each other, which soon escalated to a full-on battle. They kicked up huge dust storms as their numerous muscled limbs savagely tore each other apart. Argura and Jarvis grinned at each other, feeling waves of relief washing over them.

During the final minutes of the battle, the two remaining creatures suddenly stopped and sniffed the air, growling in a soft but curious manner. Jarvis stared down at Argura's chest and saw that one of his wounds had torn open again and was leaking blood. "Uh oh.."

Argura stared down at his wound and cursed silently. There was no doubt that they would be found out.

At that moment, an ear-piercing shriek came from both Accidents as they pelted towards the men in a furious rage.

[Dragonrabbit]

Aim pistol at Accidents > rapidly fire all loaded bullets > Shouts at Argura, "Do the best you can, but do not, I repeat do not try running! It'll be the end of you!" > begin reloading

As Jarvis sends off rounds, Argura straps his goggles on to see better. Then,
Aims MK23 carefully at accidents>while Jarvis reloads, Argura opens with another full clip>turns to Jarvis, "This is nothing! Two accidents? come on old man. Just keep your cool and they run into the bullets for you.>reloads
Argura knows that in the dark, Jarvis is basically shooting blind. What little light there is can only help so much. Thanks to the goggles, He hopes for an edge on the beasts.

Argura and Jarvis
As the Accidents charged at incredibly frightening speeds towards the two men, Jarvis started pelting the nearest one with his M9, unloading a full clip almost immediately while Argura simply strapped on his surveillance goggles for better vision during the night. Unnervingly calm during the onslaught, he raised his MK23 and took aim slowly.

As Jarvis fired his last bullet, Argura immediately fired off rounds with careful precision. Grinning, he declares, "This is nothing! Two accidents? come on old man. Just keep your cool and they run into the bullets for you."

Jarvis grimaced at the younger man's arrogance and reloaded his M9. The Accident which all the fire had been concentrated on had lost its footing and was tumbling towards Argura. The other creature was following behind, gnashing its teeth furiously.

 

[Dragonrabbit]

Aim pistol at the standing accident's head > Begin firing as quickly as possible > shout, "Mind the tumblers!" > reload

I think we should close it. More people, more hassle, more chances of the RP failing.
