Do purple suits beget crazy or does crazy beget purple suits? I think that is the question we should be asking ourselves.
The suit was calling me... Rain... Come to me. And that's how the cat ended up in the toaster.

I'd say, the moral is, if you are batman, you're awesome?! I don't know. I was just transfixed on his awesomeness the entire time, and how much the joker reminded me of Ultrajoe.

The moral of the story is that clearly Batman AND Commisioner Gordan are far too stupid to blame the last killings on a well known criminal mastermind (with unknown amount of henchman) instead of the nearest guy in a mask they can find... just kidding

The other day I watched the old "Megazone 23" series... it was weird but I really enjoyed seeing a movie with a moral in it again.

That it's advisable to shoot psycho, pyromaniac serial killers on the spot before they blow up an entire police station. That the police are too much of p*ssies to inflict death on a mass murderer without going through the proper legal channels.

To me, the meaning of the film was that it is possible to make a movie that is both action packed and possessing a lot of depth. Too many movies sacrifice one for the other nowadays.

I didn't feel a moral at the end of it. Instead I found a true tragedy. It's been a while since we've a true, honest-to-God, Greek definition tragedy.

That all bad people have a little good in them, and all good people have a little evil in them.

Also, stabbing eyes with pencils can solve any problem.

If the third movie stars Bane as the villain, and they don't give the role to Joe Kucan, I will kill myself.

I always figured that one of the morals was that it was possible to fight evil without sacrificing moral principles.

Also, that sometimes hope is needed more than truth.

Sometimes the greatest sacrifice to make in the name of justice is one's own reputation. Other times, it is those you love and care for. If you can withstand both without collapsing into a puddle of jelly, there's nothing left in the world that can stop you.

When you rattle the cages, the cages hit back.

Some men aren't driven by anything logical. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

...That being said, there is a spark of good in every man, even convicts.

Feel free to add more, but I think those are the major ones.

When you stare at the joker, the joker stabs you in the fucking face.

It's Batman for Christ's sake.

It's also the Nolans, though, and they like to say things with their movies.

The noble lie isn't that Batman is a bad guy. He definitely is a bad guy to some extent; that's why he spends the whole movie struggling with the moral equivalence between him and the Joker. The noble lie is that the polis can exist without him.

That gotham city should really bring a shoot on site policy?

I think the whole point of it was to show that even though batman is helping gotham. the people need an outside threat to hate or a figure to hate as they couldnt hate the thing with in themselves well enough.
