You know what was fantastic? Seeing in Australia on the 16th two days and up to 16 hours ahead of the rest of the world. :p

Pencil trick was the most memorable and freaky part... Ledger just stole the show and I don't think anyone else could ever play the joker again. As for two face... Jesus, best make up ever.

His skull, duh.

Also, I just went to see the movie. Exiting the theatre, I saw a small kid about 7-8 leaving the theatre. Oh, the irony of it all...

You didn't know? Have you been on a media blackout since right before his death? Ha.

This movie was amazing. I loved the Harvey Dent stuff since I was a part of the viral marketing (I wore my "I believe in Harvey Dent" button to the midnight show). Ledger is a genious. His performance as the Joker will be remembered for a long, long time. I can't wait to see where they go from here with the series.

Saw it at the midnight showing last night. Let me first say that it is very unnerving to watch this movie surrounded by people wearing Joker facepaint.

My friends and I were all blown away. That was a great movie.

Though there is one bad thing about The Dark Knight. Like, how did
two Faces face melt so quickly? Is his face made of quick melting wax?

Also, seeing that the movie is excellent, it just might be a curse that the Joker was acted so well. I have no idea how they're going to represent the Joker now, which is driving me mad.

Midnight showing, obviously. I had to run to catch the last bus home, but it was worth it.

Everyone is giving it 10 out of 10s and raving about it all. It was awesome, but it wasn't flawless. The beginning was poorly set up, Batman didn't feel like the star, and
when Rachel and Harvey were getting ready to explode it felt really confusing and poorly done.
Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but the internet is a hype-filled place. I really loved The Joker and the scene on the boats and the hospital thing, but I felt like Alfred was just pinned on and... I don't know, I guess I'm a judgmental person.

Important Question: I had to leave as soon as the credits started rolling (something I never do, I always stay 'til the end if I can), was there anything I missed?
Anything conclusive about The Joker, and whether he's dead? I mean, I guess he'll have to be dead (for obvious reasons) but did they?

Absolutely loved the way they did it and will scarcely make it to the dvd release if i dont see it at least 8 more times at the movies.

I'm waiting until monday to see it at IMAX. A friend tried to get me to go tonight at a regular theatre, but I said no. Why? Because the screen is larger than the square footage of my house. That's why.

he got oil on his face when his chair fell over in it, hence only that side of his face was burnt.

It has been stated that to honor the memory of Ledger and his brilliant performance the Joker will not appear again in these movies. Whether they cover it with an "Oh look we blew up the building he was in" or if they just dont mention him completely remains to be seen.

Would LOVE to see Hugo Weaving as the Riddler in the next one, he has that dark presence and intellectual voice that could really get inside the Bat's head. I mean just look at him as Agent Smith or V (V for Vendetta), he would thrive in that role!!!!

Umm Oil/petrol/LP gas all burn human skin without needing any ignition. Like the Hollywood law of cars in gunfights, they usually neglect to have the actor scream and flail when first covered in the stuff.

So, you're planning on making a lot of Batmans enemies Australian?

I've also heard that Heath Ledger is being considered for a posthumous Oscar for this award, the first one in close to 30 years. He really deserves it.
We Aussies are a crazy bunch =)

He really does deserve that oscar too! This was a phenominal performance by him and it'd be a crime for him not to get it.

I wonder what they plan on doing for the next movie? I think they'll bring back Cat Woman but that's just me.

Enjoyed film to no end.

Ledger really stole the show for that film.

HOWEVER, I couldn't really focus on the movie because of, well-

WATCHMEN!

...

...WATCHMEN!

P.S.- We'll see if Rorschach can out-crazy the Joker.
