So i have just been at the dentists, and i found out i have a small hole in the far back. So anyway, when was the last time you where at the dentists and how many holes did you have?

I used the search and i couldn't find a thread like this before so i made one.

Probably a couple of years ago. I got sick of going to the dentist anyway, whenever we went it was always 'some slight decay' on some tooth or another. Bull-fucking-shit, I brush my teeth twice a day, what more can I do for you people?!

Today, coincidentally. Or I guess yesterday since it's almost 3 A.M.

Never had cavities but I did have mouth surgery.
It was really awkward to see his hand slip then see the giant monitor overhead showing my mouth suddenly being filled with blood. (the not feeling it was odd)

Last time I went to the dentist I think I had 3. Gotta go for a cleaning soon so I'm hoping I don't have any this time.

It means that there is a hole in a tooth in furthest back in my mouth

I had plenty of holes when I was younger.

But no holes for the past 6 years. Though it has been close to a year since my last check: they pulled out my third wisdom tooth then. Well, they cut it out because it was growing sideways inside the soft tissue surrounding it.

As a completely unrelated FYI, eating nothing but soup for two weeks gets real boring.

I look after my teeth so well that the dentist only checks them once every two years. I last saw him September 08 and he said they were perfect. No fillings and all wisdom teeth have managed to grow out without issue.

End gloat.

a few months ago. dentist discovered that when they removed my braces 4-5 years ago they chipped my tooth which gave it time to develop a nasty cavity. Reason 9564 why the orthodontist is evil.

I'm at the dentist once a year (it's an insurance thing) but the last time i actualy needed one was about 13ish years ago

never had a cavity in my life, but apparently i 'brush too vigorously'.
last time i went was a few months ago. and the old tech lady lectured me.

she's very preachy and it's obnoxious.

I went a few days ago. Everything was fine except for the usual bit of calculus on my front teeth that had to be removed. Think it's genetic or something, no matter how well I brush I always get that. And apperantly, the gum of my front teeth is retreating, so he gave me some toothbrush instructions. O well, I don't mind it all.

Like 3 months ago, and my teeth are perfect, although not sparkely white, are still very good.

I used to get holes before though, and i just stopped getting them.

Haven't gone in a year or two, teeth are usually good, brush once a day.
