So I just picked up Super Street Fghter IV a little over an hour ago, plugging it in the good ol' Xbox with glee, eager to see the updates to the original. One of the updates I, and many many many other players, anticipated concerned the issue of CPU Seth being a complete game breaking bullshit magician.

So you may wonder, "How did Capcom alleviate this problem about which they've received numerous complaints?"

They made him stronger.

What the fuck is this shit?! Is the dev team just that thick or do they hate us with a passion?

<color=blue>Have there ever been any games you've played that've left you pondering the same questions?

Oh, plenty.

Far Cry 2 - Completely different from the first one.

Fable 2 - Don't even get my started.

Mainly, anything with a "2" slapped on the end of it has dissapointed me.

Ubisofts new DRM, and Activisions stance on PC gaming for MW2.

Oh, and any game company that uses Securom.

Mind you I'm used to hating devs now. I'm running out of good devs to like >_>

The Poison Ivy fight in Arkham Asylum on the hardest difficulty.

It almost feels as if the game's cheating; make it hard sure, don't make it impossible to stand anywhere at any time.

Oh, and Ninja Gaiden is a fucking piss take. The dev's were cheating in that, I swear.

That always happens with fighting games, though. There's gotta be that one character that is so frustrating you want to tear your controller apart. The Apprentice in SCIV, for example. Blocks, parries and instantly unloads a twelve hit combo on you.

I thought that for a bit while playing through NFS Underground. Got to a point where the enemy cars were so much more powerful than mine, despite my car being as fully upgraded as I could (all the unlocked pieces equipped). Had to downgrade my car in order to beat a few races...
Also in Ninja Gaiden, for obvious reasons.

What a coincidence I just got SF4 an hour ago as well, and I'm stuck on Seth as well. (though I have the regular version so I'm lucky)

And yes I have felt like this before. SF4's Seth is a perfect example.

I agree.

I played it for about 20 minutes, and was completely bored out of my mind.

The Force Unleashed. "Oh, you want your guy to do this action? FUCK YOU!" is what I hear in my head from the developers when I play any of the bosses. All the basic enemies are pretty easy to kill, and you can actually feel pretty awesome against them, but the bosses are just broken.

Also the phrase "game breaking bullshit magician" is fantastic. I need to find ways to use that in my everyday life.

It's kind of hard to feel like the most powerful Jedi ever when you're getting your ass handed to you by an alien midget with robot spider legs.

Most recently? Resident Evil 5, first part of the final boss fight:

I'm playing alone, which means Sheva is AI controled. For the most part, that's not so bad, but on this fight it was atrocious. You need to turn off several spotlights, hide from the boss, shoot him with a rocket, then shoot the rocket when he catches it, run up to him and then grab him. At that point your partner has roughly half a second to finish him off, otherwise he knocks you down and you have to start it all over again.

During the dozem times I had to retry this battle, Sheva would either run off doing nothing, run off trying to turn off the lights and do nothing, shoot the boss while I'm trying to hide (thereby giving away our position), be half the map away when I try to grab the boss, and even when I grab the boss and she's right there, she'd just stand there and do nothing.

I truly wanted to shoot the moron who coded her AI for that fight...

It's a fighting game there always has to be at least one overly cheap and broken character. Soul Caliber had this in the character known as Maxi.

Recently I played The Passing DLC for Left 4 Dead 2. Needless to say, I was disappointed with lack of original survivors
Especially Bill(Those who played should know what I'm talking about)
the number of levels etc. etc. Hell, the dialogue didn't even work the first 20 times I played. Most of all, I was disappointed with the amount of content I got compared to the amount of time I waited.

Demon's Souls.

Didn't one of the developers say they got off to our tears, or was that someone else?
