The game that is your avatar is a good example. I just started playing today, and already several things jumped out and bit me on the butt.tony2077 said:none that i can think of
-Extremely obscure solutions to puzzles. So, there are these invincible enemies, and there's a section in the beginning where you have to run past two of them to sloooowly open a door. You can't just make a break for it, because they will hunt you down. You can't kill them... Just because. But it gets a lot stupider. The solution is that you get them to follow you into one part of the room, then you quickly run to the other side and LOCK THE DOOR ON THEM. Yes, you USE A GLASS DOOR TO STOP TWO RAGING BERSERKER INVINCI-ALIENS. And it works. Forever. They never bust through the flimsy glass door despite being extremely strong and able to withstand bullets.
-The SMG is accurate at a distance of 20 feet. Max. Even in bursts. Any farther out and about half your shots miss. The Pistol is even less accurate than that.
-Reloading is a pain and takes forever.
-Getting more ammo is a pain and takes forever.
-Healing is a pain and takes forever.
-Why do I have to freaking stare at something every time I pick it up? "Ooh, an ammo clip. I haven't seen one of those in about 20 seconds. I better savor the experience."
On the other hand, Breakdown is SO creatively and extensively bad it officially breaks the rules and becomes awesome again. Kind of like Dead to Rights.
