The Dreamcast: a worthy purchase?

As you may have guessed, I am trying to find out whether there are enough decent games on the system to warrant getting it, a couple of controllers, all the various cables, the memory unit thing, etc. I currently know that I want Soul Reaver (because the PS version is awesome, and the DC is improved further), but I can't find much else. Recommendations, anyone?

EDIT- I'm really only looking for games that are either exclusive, or easily the definitive version. For example, there's about 15 people saying to get Crazy Taxi, but it's on PS2, and the PS2 controller is superior to that of the Dreamcast, therefore PS2 wins. Probably cheaper, too.

Ikaruga (though it'd be cheaper buying it via XBLA if you've got an Xbox,) Coaster Works, Toy Commander, Shenmue, Rez (Again, cheaper via Xbla,) Powerstone 1&2, House Of The Dead 2, Jet Set Radio, MDK2, Evil Twin...

The list goes on and on and on. If you've got the cash, you owe it to yourself to buy a Dreamcast at least once to see what could have been...

I own every games console made (since yesterday when i finally bought a 360) and have to say my DC is my favourite - quality machine you won't regret. If not for Crazy Taxi alone :D

Yes, buy one. They're fantastic for what you're paying, and you can play House of the Dead 2 with a light gun.

It's like this:

A nice number of ideas here, but I really was aiming for just getting titles that are either exclusive or the definitive version, see? So Crazy Taxi is off my list, because I prefer a PS2 controller to that of the Dreamcast.

you didnt hear this from me, but theres a program you can burn to a regular CD-R, so that you can play NES, SNES, and Genesis games on ur dreamcast. its like having 4 systems in one!

Not released in this area so doesn't count - as it's a chinese rip-off it doubly doesn't count =D

You can get those for many machines, such as the original Xbox (which does N64, NeoGeo & classic computers like the Amiga, C64 and acorn titles too).

DC Soul Reaver is bout a million times better than the PS1 version.

You also get Soul Calibur in all it's Arcade+ glory, as well as other arcade quality fighters like Street Fighter Alpha 3, Power Stone 1 & 2, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, and Marvel vs. Capcom.

It also has a large number of "cult classics" like Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, and Rayman 2.

Also: Crazy freakin' Taxi.

I think that Sonic adventure was the only good 3D sonic game.
plus there's Soul Calibur, Soul Reaver, Crazi Taxi, the Power Stone games...
ah, excuse me, I'm going to go and play my dreamcast now.

I love my Dreamcast
