The DSi is a rushed half-assed, desperatly and poorly executed job.

The facebook thing, realies on Facebook to exist. Thats a fatal flaw in your argument right there.
I believe he was referring to how there are already very basic ways to share pictures, but how the DSi cannot.

People should stop acting like this kind of thing is something new. Nintendo did this years ago with the original GameBoy.

Agreed, I never knew why people griped so much about these sort of things.

Shouldn't this be in the "User Review" section?
It should, but not really. It's more of a rant than a review.

I really don't get why they didn't release a DS-slot camera and a GBA slot media combo. You can use it with your original DS, without losing yet MORE backwards compatibility. You hear that game world? We *want* to be able to play old games on the new system.
Blame the people who fill their Slot 2 flash carts with pirated games.

You make me sad. The DSi is like Twilight (or, for some people, the Wii): No-one gives a shit what you think about it - they'll buy it and they'll enjoy it, no matter how much you force the raincloud over their heads. Believe me, I've tried.

Shhhh...you're ruining their poorly thought out arguments.

I mean really, why would the company that is still technically dominating the handheld market be doing something "desperately"?

But nevermind that. Personally I don't really care for the DSi but at this point I'm almost willing to buy it just because it might make people whinge themselves inside out just a bit more to know that its still selling so well.

Yesterday I had the chance to buy a normal DS and Platinum for 100 quid. Please shoot me. I realised my mistake on "holding out" till the DSi gets cheaper now.

Yeah but people couldn't go on forums and ***** about it as much, also there weren't as many gamers and no one really cared. Nintendo has always had the same formula and hasn't really ever changed it.

Hardcore is quite a retarded term, I mean to call yourself a HARDCOREEE GaMER! sounds pretty silly but anyways. Nintendo has always made the same games for their consoles, the only thing that has changed are the third party companies that make games for them. Therefore Nintendo was never "hardcore" so stop you bitching.

They disagree. :p

But yeah the DSi is a poor excuse to milk out more money out of a handheld console that sold as much as the PS2(which is the highest selling console ever if not wrong...).
Very nice.

But Nintendo Force's you !

thank god i'm a Sony and Microsoft dude
Hehe, I agree they're like McDs or Dissnee with these vast media empires, where when they come out with something new.. you HAVE TO HAVE IT!!

I guess I'm really behind on the times (or may I'm just more of a xbox and sony guy) but let me get this straight -- the new DSi will not be able to play any of the old games that you currently own? So if you buy this piece of crap, you have to RE-BUY all of your old games via DSi download store just so that you can keep playing it!? Thats.. really.. messed... up...

Finally! I for one desperately prefer my DS to the DSi. Seems both pointless and un-innovative of Nintendo

You are not behind on the times, you are just misinformed. I could see how you would believe nintendo would do that though.....you are used to it being a sony guy and all.

I have a PS3 which can play PS2 games and that can play PSone games so what's your point again?
