Yeah but people couldn't go on forums and ***** about it as much, also there weren't as many gamers and no one really cared. Nintendo has always had the same formula and hasn't really ever changed it.

Nintendo has always made the same games for their consoles, the only thing that has changed are the third party companies that make games for them. I guess I'm really behind on the times (or may I'm just more of a xbox and sony guy) but let me get this straight -- the new DSi will not be able to play any of the old games that you currently own? So if you buy this piece of crap, you have to RE-BUY all of your old games via DSi download store just so that you can keep playing it!? Thats.. really.. messed... up...

I have a PS3 which can play PS2 games and that can play PSone games so what's your point again?
