Ok, its got a little longer but a potential (however extreamly rare) outcome of the LHC is a sustained Black hole which would eat the earth out in about 4 years.
If that was to happen, what would you use those four years doing?

Personally, I would spend those four years at first not changing my life too much, saving myself for the last year where I would probably be a complete dick

EDIT: I never thought it would make a black hole big enough etc, I'm not that bad at physics, I only wanted to know what someone would do with a prehaps more lenghy final moments.

If everyone knew for certain that the world would end in say... A years time, all work would halt. I'd just enjoy life, And spend as much time with my friends and girlfriend as physically possible.

I'd love to just spend it with Family and friends everyday, get drunk all the time, have lots of sex and get high.

In reality though, I'd probaly jut be sobbing about how I'm going to die soon.

if all work halted, you would see a massive famine.

Repent, visit family, repent, do something like skydiving, repent, get laid.

Thats how I have it planned.

Probably drink a lot, can't really panic too much when you're drunk constantly.

Observe the change in people and run away from most, as a lot would just go crazy and stab peepz.

This guy has my mindset. If it isn't happening right now, I don't need to care. Just continue to watch the world fly by, maybe drink through a lot of it. But, ultimately, I won't care.

First off, when the LHC turned on, it did exactly what it was supposed to, and anyone who took physics in high school would know that it couldn't do anything else.

but hey I'll take any excuse I can to party

It is NOT going to produce a massive black hole. They were trying to create mini-black holes to help establish credence to the 'multiple dimension' theories, but none have been produced.

Besides, it is recently discovered that nature does this kind of stuff all the time:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/04/100413202850.htm

I think it was a Fight Club quote that said, "On a big enough timeline, the survival rate of everything drops to zero."

It's perfectly possible that the LHC could destroy the world. I mean, it's perfectly possible that the universe is an illusion, and once you accept that, anything goes.

Hmm, you know that idea that the perception of time would be drastically different for an immortal person? That is, days or years could seem like seconds, millenia like days? I wonder if that kind of effect could occur on a human population, going from bascially living for 60-70 years to just 4. I'd imagine the whole thing could feel -very- drawn out, if not equivalent to a Mayfly's existance.

Finish watching every episode of Star Trek and then try and find a nice girl and fall in love. Failing that I'd spend the rest of my time making the lives of those who annoy me hell.
